The Breeders' Choice Dispersal We are making every female and bull we have available to you in this auc-
tion. We are cutting back severely but this is not a total dispersal so some females are offered in special "Breeders' Choice Lots" which give you the option to select from our best and the power to tell us which female in the choice lot we get to keep to work with going forward. We think this is the best and fairest way to truly offer all of our best cattle while still giving us the cattle we need to meet our resources of land and time. Please give us your feedback on this method and be sure to take advantage and load your choices of our best cattle! 5

Pe 6/25-8/25 to dSul Man up (who da Man x 138 Meyer) – Safe – due approx. 4/19 A proven favorite and one of the most potent cows in the lineup, Haley 5602 may not look like a power cow but she sure produces like one. She is one of several embryo daughters of our famous Chill 602G donor that have earned donor status themselves and this cow has been giving us quality since she entered production. Her 2013 crop includes a new promotional sire raised by Jeff Holmes, IA, from an embryo purchase and this cow has given us a long line of strong-selling calves in past years including the Grand Champion Prospect Steer of the 2012 NILE from another embryo purchase by Shasta Valley Genetics. Haley 5602 is a full sister to the 2001 Ft. Worth Grand Champion Steer as well as a number of favorite donors across the country. Her calves include sons and daughters by Heat Wave, Monopoly, and George that have thus far brought in more than $65,000. She milks and flushes well and is bred for an excellent calf again this year.

She was a high seller of the 2012 GCC Classic Sale and we love her potential and early performance that has included a beautiful heifer calf that sells here and a strong first flush to Heat Wave. This cow is a real beauty and we think she has serious potential for raising elite-level prospects with a variety of bulls. Her first calf shows you the shape and look she will put in one so we’re pretty confident what will come next from this favorite. You cannot go wrong with this choice between her and the dam of our $30,000 top steer this fall and both are so good that we do not care which you select.

A maternal brother was the $49,500 top seller of the 2011 Reimann Calf Sale and was a multiple winner for the Vickland family, CO, and many more have sold with the top of their crops. To date, she has produced just 6 calves for us and they include her first calf that sold for $18,000 and was a show winner, another that sold for $6,800 in our September 2013 calf sale, and four bulls that averaged $4,500. This cow has great things in her future and she has a pedigree that is easy to combine for both pure and crossbred success. We hate to see her go but we will give the option to get her on your team in this choice between two elite Charolais donors!

She flushes amazingly well and has not missed for us thus far; her first son was lost too early because he was really an excellent tool. Her dam is the great Stockman 365 donor at Sullivan Farms, IA, that has created so much success over the years and this is surely one of her best daughters. It’s up to you to make the tough choice between this beauty and Lot 10A but either way you will not miss. This one is very young and really just getting started but it has been great so far!

Sells open PRivate Sale – due to special circumstances, this cow is for sale privately. ask for details and pricing. Our awesome full sister to DSUL Smokin’ Meyer can really bring the heat! Honey Bee 5829R is the dam of a number of past favorites and she is still working well despite recent illness; her flush this September produced 7 grade 1 embryos by Heat Wave. This is the dam of the $26,500 Heat Wave son that topped the 2013 calf sale at Bar A Cattle, TX, and another that was Champion Chi of the 2009 San Antonio Stock Show, and another steer that brought $10,000 and won his division at the Belt Buckle Bonanza for the Davison family, TX. Her daughters are favorites too like a $15,000 bred heifer by Heat Wave and her $8,400 and $5,300 flush mates among a number of other premium calves. Maternal brothers include favorite sires like DSUL Smoke Signal and DSUL Outlaw as the dam of this cow stands as one of the best donor investments we have ever made. Honey Bee 5829R was ill a year ago but she has responded and calved this fall before flushing well again. She does not look like she used to – which was pretty amazing – but she still produces with the best in the game so we are offering her for sale privately in order to make everything in our program available to you.

PRivate Sale – due to special circumstances, this cow is for sale privately. ask for details and pricing. Like fine wine, this cow just gets better with time! Katie 491K ranks as the most successful Limousin donor we have ever worked – and we’ve had some great ones – and she keeps cranking out success despite age and injury. She gave us our top-selling spring heifer last year with a Monopoly daughter at $12,500 and her last two flushes have yielded 10 and 9. Everyone loves their 491K daughters; and sons include James Sullivan’s 4th Overall Steer of the Iowa Expo and State Fair, Charlie Wilson’s Reserve Grand Steer of the World Beef Expo, and a full sister was a dominant winner for the Vince Elder family, TX. This cow also produced our top-selling bred heifer a year ago to Roecker Cattle, IA, and plenty of other babies that have sold with the best of their crops. She is another cow that has suffered an injury but still works very well and is capable of delivering quick and significant success in a very short time. We are offering every bull and mature female in our program and this cow needs a little special care but if you are up the task, she will bring home the bacon for sure!
