Call to Worship adapted from Rev. Susan A. Blain We praise the God of all creation: We come to bless and be blessed! Let each individual voice praise God: We come to bless and be blessed! Let all voices together praise God: We come to bless and be blessed! Let the great multitude of nations praise God: We come to bless and be blessed! With all Creation we praise God: We come to bless and be blessed! Hymn Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing UMH #400 Prayer of Confession and Words of Assurance adapted from Seasons Online Beloved, we are God’s children now, but what we will be in the fullness of our time has not been revealed. What we do know is this: we will be like Jesus the Christ and saints of God. Let us consider how Jesus was revealed among us and pray to be more like the Christ in every way. Jesus embodied the unconditional love of God… may we be more like Jesus. {pause} Jesus fed those who were hungry… may we be more like Jesus. {pause} Jesus drew near to those living on the margins and excluded… may we be more like Jesus. {pause} Jesus brought healing and wholeness to those in need… may we be more like Jesus. {pause} Jesus hungered and thirsted for righteousness… may we be more like Jesus. {pause} We are becoming more and more like Christ each day. Therefore, let us live joyfully as God’s people; saints and instruments of God’s way. In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Alleluia! Amen.

The Lord's Prayer Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kin-dom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for yours is the kin-dom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
Prayer After Receiving Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
