Prelude Invocation*
Rejoice in the Lord Always
Henry Purcell
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Rejoice! Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Rejoice The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus. Rejoice!

Hymn
vs 1, 2, 3
Hark! the herald angels sing, glory to the newborn King; peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinner reconciled! Joyful all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies; with angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem!” Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”
Christ, by highest heaven adored; Christ the everlasting Lord; late in time behold him come, offspring of a virgin's womb. Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail the incarnate Deity, pleased with us in flesh to dwell, Jesus our Emmanuel. Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King!" Hail the heavenborn Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness Light and life to all he brings, risen with healing in his wings. Mild he lays his glory by, born that we no more may die, born to raise us from the earth, born to give us second birth. Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King!"
Benediction
