Our vision was; web-2-print should be simple, the templates should be built by the software, and there should be a special module to sell to SMEs, together with a library of ready-made design templates. Client supplied files (that are supposedly print ready) can be interrogated via the file checking function. Resolution, size, RGB colours and the like are evaluated, some auto corrections can be made and the file given a positive green light or a red light to indicate concern.

Auto-preflight Save 20 minutes per job on supplied files Why preflight? W3P preflight is designed to help you process supplied files for flyers, leaflets, business cards etc that are intended to be produced in process colour. It identifies common problems such as unintended spot colours, low resolution images, RGB images and the absence of bleed. W3P auto-preflight has been configured to standard industry tolerances for bleed, ink limit and the like. W3P preflight works with Marketplace products but is equally well suited to supplying files for in house production or outsourcing to a third party. Upload your file. W3P interrogates your file. It makes intelligent changes for you to accept or decline, e.g. adding bleed. When certain other problems are encountered, W3P reports back via a ‘results of your file check’ screen.
Online proofing
‘Bulletproof’ makes it secure and efficient Why not just proof by email? Let’s think about the drawbacks. When you email a PDF proof, you’re running a risk that the client may take it and order via any of the low cost online printers. Of course, you could make a low resolution or watermarked version to ‘secure it’, however in doing so you’ve added an extra stage of administration with every proof. This reduces your effi ciency.
Bulletproof - simple and secure Bulletproof is the W3P way of proofi ng. Bulletproof makes the process simpler and quicker for you and your client. Instead of having to remember log in details and passwords, your client accesses their proof via a ‘token’ embedded in an email, automatically generated by W3P. This means that accessing their proof is just as simple as clicking on the link in the email. You enjoy peace of mind knowing your client is accessing a proof that provides them with the necessary detail, but is not in a format that could be sent to your competitors. If the proof is downloaded, a watermark is automatically added.
