Charity for Children

On Monday, March 25th, the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel held their Sheraton Associates Bowling for Charity event. The event took place at Erie Lanes. All donations were given to the local organization, Charity for Children, Inc. Charity for Children provides educational and financial support to needy families of the Central New York region with children who have disabilities, disorders and diseases. This organization stands out because it relies solely on donations from sponsors in order to help out the families in need. Charities for Children focuses on providing financial and educational assistance to the families with children who have "fallen through the cracks." Charities for Children is aimed at helping the families when government assistance is unable to provide help. The organization's efforts focus on intervention, medical referrals, advocacy and providing services directly to children.
