Our guests are our top priority. No request goes unanswered and we do everything we can to make sure that their stay is as pleasant as possible. The Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel's primary goal is to provide our guests with extraordinary customer service and attention to detail. Each department works dutifully and collectively in making sure that our guests have a great experience and are treated with the utmost care. Our guests form a large part of who we are and it is because of this that we are always searching for opportunities to enhance our guests' experience.

We engage with our guests as much as possible. In doing so, we are able to interact with past, current and potential guests, monitoring and following up on their satisfaction with the hotel and answering any questions they may have. Building this connection with our guests is essential in establishing a trusting relationship with them.

Customer engagement is critical to our success and longevity. We encourage our guests to take surveys and polls found on our website to rate their stay with us.

At the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel, we provide our guests with information regarding places to visit, events and encourage them to venture outside of the hotel to see what the city of Syracuse has to offer. We inform them of any special package deals we have in our hotel and any offers we have in conjunction with Destiny USA and other Syracuse area attractions.

Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel Staying Green with LED Lighting

Over the past few months, the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference center has been installing LED lighting in our attached parking structure in an effort to be more environmentally conscious. The hotel chose to become a part of this innovation because the energy savings and return on investment are significant.

With this installation, the hotel has been able to reduce from 150 watt fixtures to 38 watt fixtures, saving 165,000 kilowatt hours annually.

LED stands for light-emitting diode. LEDs are small light sources that illuminate when the electrons present within the light source move around through a semiconductor material.

The benefits of having LED lighting are numerous. LED lights reduce maintenance, energy and cooling costs.

These lights provide for better lighting and are more durable than light bulbs. LED lights are more efficient and last longer when compared to other lights.

The LED lights are built to withstand Central New York weather. Our chief engineer, Peter LaPage will continue this move to more efficient LEDs in the future.
