Project: Chemulpo House. Author: Ignacio Braga, Pablo Rivero Vallado and Manuel Rodríguez. Typology: Unifamiliar housing a.560 sqm, plus courtyards. Abstract: It is an old house at the historic city center of Mérida, México,
that has been redesigned trying to maintain the original architecture, yet with a contemporaneous touch. The project keeps the exterior rooms as commercial spaces, making of the inter courtyard a much intimate space, surrounded by the public programme of the house. The bedroom zone has its own courtyard, creating a degradation between both areas. The materials chosen are handmade and locally manufactured, recuperating the original carpentry and recycling wood for the furniture. .

Project:
Santiago House.
Author: Pablo Rivero Vallado. Typology: Unifamiliar house at the historic center, at the Sant Santiago neighborhood of Mérida Yucatán. Abstract: This project began with the idea of preserving the different stages of this antique property, as a
house in the 19th century and later on a garage from a funerary and coffins workshop in the 60’s. It was decided to observe, structurally, the different stages and show some vestiges of the different uses: the open space at the ground level was only modified by a services volume, as well as by a pool and a garden, congregating all the public spaces in it. In the first floor there are the private spaces, away form the noise of the streets, and finally, on the third floor, a green space and chill area.

ProJECT: House 72. Studio: IB arquitectura. Authors: Ignacio Braga and Pablo Rivero. Typology: Weekend house at the historic center of Mérida, Yucatán. Abstract: This old family property was built at the beginning of the 20th
century with stone walls and hydraulic floors. Without tearing down the former architecture, the proposal was to look for new wide open and modern uses. This is pursued by using also chukum white concrete, cross ventilation and a pool, thus achieving a much more refreshing ambience in the house, completed with an eclectic layer of furniture. 1

Project: Library of Prague. Studio: Zambra + Mendoza. Authors: Arq. Isaac Zambra and Arq. Izbeth Mendoza. Team: Pablo Rivero Vallado. Typology: Competition , Equipment, library. Abstract: Entry for the competition for the new library of
the city of Prague, Czech Republic, at Letna, an area close to the historic center and connected visually and physically by a big green area. The proposal analyzes the different borders and flows of the current place and its potential. Thus, the building wanted to be the reflection of them, creating the volume and the architectonic programme. It also raises a neutral point in between different and opposed poles. The middle point of the different degradations coincides with the new emplacement of the library.
