The intent of the ramp design was to create a TRANSITIONAL EXPERIENCE for the visitors who come to view the Farnsworth house. ToB create pause points in this ramp, I provided small terraces where a person can just wait and IMMERSE themselves in TRAMPOLINE BINS RAIN TANK the serene landscape. The concept while shaping the landform was to ENCAPSULATE THE NATURAL LANDSCAPE while providing equal access to the house.

01 NEXUS, AN URBAN PARK AMIDST THE CITY Design Studio 2- M.LArch Year 1, Semester 2(2020) Exhibited at MSDx (Melbourne School of Design Summer Exhibition)
This project seeks to explore diverse spatial experiences with the idea of creating a Nexus- a focal point amidst the City of Melbourne. Owing to the dense urban context there is a need for a breathing space in the city that promotes gathering of people. The central idea for this project is to create a space for gathering while creating pockets of intimate spaces within and while doing so using subtle modications in the land form.

The central amphitheatre acts as a focal point that provides a space for congregating as well as multipurpose activities. The park offers a variety of experiences created through the land form like spaces for sitting, relaxing, lying down, playing and transition spaces. Cubist approach
The inspiration for the design came from asking multiple probing questions and developing themes in response. What if the Ngargee Tree was re-established as a cultural node for the site? What if the pre-colonial swamplands were respectfully acknowledged by introducing a wetland on the site while integrating contemporary design principles adopted from the modernist landscape architect, Roberto Burle Marx?

05 GRADING AND EQUAL ACCESS, FARNSWORTH HOUSE Shaping the landscape- M.LArch Year 1, Semester 1(2020)
DESIGN INTENTION
6.00
The intent of the ramp design was to create a TRANSITIONAL EXPERIENCE for the visitors who come to view the Farnsworth house. To create pause points in this ramp, I provided small terraces where a person can just wait and IMMERSE themselves in the serene landscape. The concept while shaping the landform was to ENCAPSULATE THE NATURAL LANDSCAPE while providing equal access to the house.

06 BEACH SIDE WELLNESS SANCTUARY Architectural Design Studio- Year 5, Semester 2 (2018) Thesis project
NEED FOR THE PROJECT The modern way of living of most of the Indians involves 40-80 hours a week of stressful work, unhealthy conditions, poor eating habits and health problems due to their lifestyle. Oblivious and accustom to the toxins that we put into our bodies and our buildings, we have lost connection to the environment and our health. In turn humans live in a constant state of stress, stress on the body and mind, stress put on the natural environment. There is a need for a sanctuary: Where one can go to relieve stress and help heal the mind and body. This forming a terminus of relaxation, meditation and health. By exploring the meaning of sanctuary in a non-religious context and thinking of ARCHITECTURE AS A MEDIUM FOR HEALING, this place becomes an escape from the stressful environment that surrounds us and a place to gain a new perspective on the daily problems of life. Major of such existing facilities do not serve the combination of physical and psychological healing under the same roof. The therapies and the courses are the prime factor of healing in such facilities, whereas I will be aiming to design architecture for healing and the environment making the deeper impact.
