THE HYBRID OF FUTURE WORK

IMPACT ON USER The guiding principle of Building with Nature is to work with nature, not against it. It uses system understanding and the inclusion of natural processes as core of its solution. Social, interaction with relevant stakeholders, including local communities, is key to successful implementation of building with Nature. Versatile reuse remains as a strategy to scale back immensely on both the emanations and the development and destruction squander - also the related expenses - that come with building a genuinely new thing

ES TURTL

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT African helmeted Turtles (Pelomedusa s. subrufa) are common on the Savannah, GA. They live in ponds created by rainwater, burying themselves in the mud when the water dries up. These turtles grow to about 8 inches in diameter and feed on small fish, snails and other insects.

Turtle Turtle symbolism and meaning includes longevity retreat, healing, tranquility, the Earth, and transformation. Its shell is a spiritual shield that is our armor against negativity, harmful influences and chaos.

SAFE HAVEN As the turtle carries its own shell and can't separate itself from its 'Safe Haven', neither can we isolate ourselves from the connections we hold with the earth and nature. A concept for the co-working space "Second Home", which includes wellness spaces for kids with other corporate offices, the design takes inspiration from the meaning and symbolism of a turtle - longevity retreat, healing, tranquility, the Earth, and transformation. Wellness can influence the user's physical and emotional health, growth, and development; while also experiencing comfort, refreshment and belongingness. They will also feel a sense of safety and homeliness, while staying connected to the roots of nature. To address the same, the design will make use of earthy materials - wood, plants, stone - and design principles - unity, movement, balance.
