I BELIEVE THAT DESIGN IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE AESTHETICS BUT ALSO A SOLUTION TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS.WEASDESIGNERSHAVETHEPOWERTOENLIGHTENANDEDUCATEPEOPLETHROUGHOURDESIGN.MY PHILOSOPHY IS TO BRING INSPIRATION TO REALITY , WHICH WILL CHANGE PEOPLE’S PERSPECTIVE FROM DESIGN ASANARTTODESIGNASASOLUTION.

TO BEGIN MY FORMAL JOURNEY IN DESIGN, I COMPLETED A DIPLOMA IN DESIGN IN L. S. RAHEJA, MUMBAI (INDIA)

IN2015.POSTMYDIPLOMA,IWORKEDWITHSEVERALORGANIZATIONSASADESIGNER-STUPANDSPACEDESIGN GROUP COLLABORATING WITH TEAMS OF ENGINEERS, CONSTRUCTION SPECIALISTS, AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS. I HELPED AN EDUCATIONAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, LEARNING SPACE FOUNDATION, DESIGN A MODEL FOR PRESCHOOLS IN A LARGE RURAL DISTRICT OUTSIDE MUMBAI. WHEN THE LAYOUTS, SPACE PLANS, FURNITURE DESIGNS AND CLASSROOM MODELS WERE IMPLEMENTED, I FOUND IT VERY FULFILLING TO HAVEIMPACTEDACAUSEANDTHELIVESOFYOUNG,BRIGHTCHILDREN.

IACCUMULATEDABOUTTHREEYEARSOFEXPERIENCEININTERIORDESIGNFIRMSANDLATERBEGANWORKINGAS A FREELANCER (2018). THIS PROVIDED ME WITH A GREAT HANDS-ON EXPOSURE TO LEAD PROJECTS BY COMMUNICATING WITH CLIENTS, MAKING PRESENTATIONS, DESIGNING AUTOCAD DRAWINGS, COLLABORATING WITH CONTRACTORS TO DELIVERING AND EXECUTING A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT. THOSE YEARS HAVE FORMED A BACKBONE OF HOW I SEE MY CREATIVITY AND PROFESSIONAL APPROACH AND THAT THE RESULTS HAVE A SUBSTANTIALIMPACTONCUSTOMERSATISFACTION.

I BELIEVE THERE IS NO LIMIT TO EDUCATION, HENCE TO EXPAND MY KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF INTERIOR DESIGN, I DECIDED TO PURSUE BFA INTERIOR DESIGN AT SCAD (2020-2023). I BUILT CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS BY COLLABORATING WITH FACULTY MEMBERS AND PEERS AND EXCELLED IN ALL MY COURSES BY ACHIEVING UNDERGRADUATE GOLD HONORS IN INTERIOR DESIGN (MAGNA CUM LAUDE). THIS EXPERIENCE ENABLED ME TO DEVELOP A STRONG INTEREST IN HOSPITALITY AND HELPED ME ENHANCE SOME SOFTWARE SKILLS LIKE REVIT, ENSCAPE,SKETCHUPANDINDESIGNALONGWITHCONCEPTDEVELOPMENT.

I AM HAPPIEST WHEN I AM IN THE MIDST OF A DESIGN PROCESS AND CONFIDENT ABOUT MY CAPABILITIES TO BE AN ACCOMPLISHED DESIGNER. I AM PASSIONATE, CREATIVE AND DETERMINED TO USE MY ART AND MAKE A MEANINGFULIMPACT.

IT CAN BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL REQUIREMENTS.

THE SHAPE OF THE TABLE IS TAPERED FROM BOTH THE SIDES, WHICH OPTIMIZES THE SURFACE AREA. THIS ALSO ENABLES EASIER INTERACTIONS AS THE PARTICIPANTS CAN SEE EACH OTHER FROM THEIR SPOTS AND ARE AT A CLOSER DISTANCE FROM EACH OTHER.
