THE MELODY WEEKEND HOME IS DESIGNED ON ONE OF THE MOST SCENIC ISLANDS OFF EAST COAST ROAD LINKING CHENNAI AND PONDICHERRY. THE HOME WAS DESIGNED TO MIMIC THE STRAIGHT LINE OF THE BAY OF BENGAL HORIZON AND THE FINAL CURVILINEAR IMPRINT THE SURFACE LEAVES ON THE PRISTINE SANDS OF THE SECOND LARGEST COAST IN THE WORLD. THE DESIGN IS ALL ABOUT THE HOME’S FORM DEPICTING AND TRANSLATING THIS TRANSITION OF NATURE IN RHYTHM WITH MELODY’S MASSING

EACH BEDROOM WAS CAREFULLY CURATED BASED ON THE FAMILY MEMBERS AND EACH HAVE THEIR OWN COLOUR PALETTES. THE MASTER BEDROOM FOR INSTANCE HAS A BLACK AND WHITE THEME WHERE THE FLOOR AND WALLS ARE COMPLETELY WHITE WITH THE MAIN ELEMENT BEING THE BLACK AND WHITE TREE OF LIFE ART WORK BEHIND THE BED. ALL THE UPHOLSTERY ARE GREYS OR BLACK. SINCE THE ROOM HAS AN ENTIRE WALL OD NATURAL LIGHT SUCH DARK COLORS WERE USED WITHOUT MAKING THE SPACE LOOK CLAUSTROPHOBIC.

designed as an Aquatic complex on the ground floor, with four Badminton courts on the first mezzanine floor,the building is accompanied with an Alley theme cafe on the outside along with sufficient space for car and bike parking. The entire space was designed keeping in mind the functional requirements of a sports complex along with a touch of modern aesthetics.

GUTS BADMINTON

A compilation of 6 Badminton courts along of adequate lockers for men and woman. Along with a small store and reception at the entrance. The elevation is done in such a way as to bring of the essence of the said sport keeping in mind the direction of the sun so it doesn’t get in the sight of line of the players.

AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE VIEWS THE MAIN ELEMENT ARE THE CURVED WALLS WHICH ARE COMPLETELY COVERED IN VENEER ACTING AS PARTITIONS FOR THE DIFFERENT THEMES OF ART WHICH ARE BEING DISPLAYED. THE ENTIRE SPACE HAS PLENTY OF NATURAL LIGHT BROUGHT IN BY THE CENTRAL SKYLIGHT WHICH THROWS DIFFERENT SHADOWS AND DESIGN.

A PALETTE OF CONCRETE REEDED GLASS , STAINLESS STEEL AND WHITE DUCO WAS CHOSEN TO CREATE A COMFORTABLE YET PRACTICAL INTERIORS FOR OUR CLINIC. WE HAVE USED THESE PARTICULAR MATERIALS TO CAPTURE THE SENSE OF CALM, QUIET AND LUXURY WHITE MAINTAINING THE CLEANLINESS EXPECTED IN AN ORTHODONTIC CLINIC. WE WANTED TO DESIGN A SPACE THAT WAS TACTILE AND INCORPORATING STERILITY WITH A BALANCE OF WARMTH TO MAKE THE PATIENTS COMFORTABLE.

THE IDEA WAS TO MAKE THE SPACE LOOK LUXURIOUS AS WELL AS COZY. THE COLOUR PALLET IS BROWNS AND GREYS AND VERY NEUTRAL.
