Hello! I am Priya Sharma. I am a Designer. I have done my B. Design course from Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune. I like exploring various fields and working on varied and different projects that teach me something new at each progressive stage.
HELP: Mobile Application “Help� is a hypothetical self help application. It basically is a 24x7 service providing application designed for Symbiosis Institute of Design. It is to help all the visitors and new students in the college, to let them know where and when they can get anything that they require.

This persona shows daily routine and lifestyle of college students. What are the problems and the challenges that they face. They keep enquiring and asking people about the things they need and places they need to do. They want this task to be easier.

Kiran walks into the campus, she needs to fill the form for hostel room. She goes to the reception and asks them where to get the form.
Its Kiran’s first day in college, she has been asked to report to the class room by 9:30 a.m.
Kiran needs a new software in her machine and doesn’t know from where to get it.
She first needs to enquire about the bus timings.
She starts looking for the IT department in college and is confused where to go.
She reaches college and doesn’t know where her class is and what floor is it on.
Asks a few people and finally finds it.
Goes to the admin department to get the form. But unfortunately its their lunch time and will only get it after 2 p.m.

System Design In this project I studied a system and the sub systems of the same, redesigning the system to solve a problem or reduce error, increasing the efficiency it. I worked on the parking lot for the Phoenix Market City, Pune.

During this project I studied the whole parking system and its sub systems. We interviewed a lot of people including the visitors and the people working there. Whole parking lot is divided into various levels and zones and is color coded to make it work efficiently. It still causes a lot of trouble as people find it confusing.

The major problem that most of the people face in the whole parking process is that they remember the pillar number where car is parked but often forget the way to it. Sometimes they even get confused between the levels. This led us to a solution where a kiosk will be placed at every entry, helping people find the way to their car.

Solution
A map shows your position and the spot where your car is parked.
If you enter the wrong pillar number, which is, if you are on some other level, it asks you to move to the correct parking level.
As visitors found it very difficult to find their car in the huge and multi leveled parking lot, a Kiosk set up at every entrance will help them find their car with the help of a properly directed map. It will even tell users about the level if needed.

This persona talks about typical Indian youth, their likes and dislikes and their lifestyle. Almost all the people use smartphones comfortably and does most of the work through their phone. Wherever possible.

User Centric Design This project focuses on the Water Drinking habits of the Street Vendors travelling on Bicycles. They usually carry all the things including Utensils, Small gas, Small burner etc. in a bag which is hung on the handle of the bicycle. They carry water for cooking as well as drinking in the same bag further adding the weight to it. In this project I have worked on the problem to reduce the weight of water from the bag hung on the handle.

Water drinking habits of the street vendors were closely studied. All those street vendors who carry water for cooking as well as drinking were observed. Later a lot of different concepts were worked on, the one which was most efficient was then selected, detailed and was worked upon.

Sketches
Various design options were explored to remove the weight from the handle of the bicycle and be shifted to the main frame of the cycle. Explorations included bottles, frames and stands.

A prototype made in college workshop, using vacuum forming process to see the actual working and functioning of the product.

This is an E- learning module for Ishi Khosla the Nutritionist for her foundation course. It’s a 20 minutes video explaining the foundation course.

This is an explainer Video made for a Youtube Channel. The main aim of the channel is to make people well verse with all the tricks and the tactics that can be used to save online money using mobile wallets.
Instructional Design
This is video was made for DISQ, which is an innovation center for young entrepreneurs, by TCS, in collaboration with MIT Media Lab.
Some of the videos that I worked on in last few months as an Instructional Designer. These are all different videos including Explainer videos, e- learning module, etc. I did the story boards and concepts foe these videos and guided illustrators and animators with whatever had to be done.

Packaging Design
In this project we had o choose a brand, create its sub brands an d design packaging for the same. The brand I chose is M.O.D. designed is the packaging for Regular box. World Music Day box, Cupcake Day box and Women’s Day box.

YouTube Channel
I worked as a Manager for this YouTube channel called Kiddy Songs. I was also the head of all the creatives for the channel, including the Avatar, Cover Page, Splash screen, End slate and thumbnails for the videos. It’s a channel for kids songs and nursery rhymes.
