CLIENT EXPERIENCE CASE STUDY: DISRUPT/GROUP OVERVIEW Digital entertainment trailblazer Shira Lazar and production company Disrupt/Group launched “What’s Trending” in Spring 2012. JJPR onboarded with the objective of helping the show sustain momentum from the first half of the season to solidify renewed distribution and sponsorship.

JJPR’s strategy was to kickstart with a mid-season recap to highlight the show’s ground breaking achievements and secure Q&A / profile pieces on Shira Lazar to organically drive tune in to What’s Trending.

3 weeks into the campaign, the client was hit with a crisis PR situation. JJPR provided consult and strategic guidance on how to handle and recover. After a slight quiet period, What’s Trending revealed staggering metrics, we timed a series of heavy-hitting Q&A’s with Lazar, engaged B2B PR as we landed major brand deals, launched a second season and led the announcements of What’s Trending’s shift to daily.

JJPR continues to handle corporate and consumer initiatives for the brand.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE CASE STUDY: BIG FRAME OVERVIEW Big Frame approached JJPR looking for a blend of corporate communications, consumer content and talent publicity in Winter 2011. Launched as part of YouTube’s Original Channels Initiative, Big Frame was most concerned with driving awareness for its channel launching in April 2012 – BAMMO. Additionally, the company principals wanted to ensure that Big Frame was mentioned in relevant roundups alongside competitors, included in YouTube big picture stories, and engaging in thought leadership through commentary and speaking engagements.

JJPR has excelled in getting Big Frame included in major media outlets for corporate initiatives including seed funding and creating cross-client synergies. We have worked to ensure that Big Frame talent is prioritized in cross-client projects and YouTube initiatives.

Our work has also included announcements and publicity around Big Frame’s talent projects (i.e. Destorm’s debut album release ‘Be Careful’) and content launches including Squaresville + GirlsGuideTo TV.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE CASE STUDY: DANCEON OVERVIEW JJPR kickstarted work with DanceOn in October 2011 just prior to the announcement of YouTube’s Channel Initiative. We saw DanceOn through the announcement ensuring major media players were aware of the brand and its involvement in the funding.

We also led DanceOn’s launch and ongoing consumer publicity around it’s first funded show, Dance Showdown, which has recently debuted a second season.

In addition to our audience driving tactics, JJPR has facilitated corporate communications to elevate the profile of CEO Amanda Taylor and recent competitive hire Amanda Goodfried, as CMO. Our work includes speaking engagements, thought leadership and executive profiles.

We have worked closely with YouTube as well to ensure DanceOn is included in proactive pitching YouTube may execute and is fully aware of DanceOn’s key achievements.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE CASE STUDY: CONTROL TV OVERVIEW Veteran entertainment / reality TV producers Richard Saperstein and Ken Fuchs partnered with Seth Green to launch a 24/7 live stream series, Control TV, a CAA project. Jocelyn’s team was charged with coordinating Seth Green’s, the sponsors’ (Ford / Spring / Mars) and distributor’s (DBG) PR teams.

With only two weeks ahead of launch, the team executed a publicity blitz that drove viewership headed by placements in AP and Entertainment Weekly. We secured talent Q&A’s with Tristan Couvares, a regular guy cast in the series, and a national media tour. Working with Seth Green’s handlers we were able to maximize his time for key interviews ahead of launch. We pipelined updates and highlights on a weekly basis to maintain traction. We also developed a customized social media editorial calendar and oversaw execution across all teams.
