ny customer can have a car painted any colour he wants, said Henry Ford, launching his Model T – “so long as it’s black. No such monotony of uniformity awaits the discriminating customer of Beveland Distillers, the Spanish company exporting spirits to more than 65 nations worldwide. “Culture, country, client and our spirits, define our presence in the localised markets across the world,” said its President, Joel Masoliver. “Our Dominican Republic rums, for example, are made and aged in their country of origin, as are our Scotch whisky and our Tequila from Mexico.”
Tastes and cultures
While Beveland Distillers is selling to 65 countries across the globe, it is the role given to national tastes and cultures that distinguish the Spanish-headquartered company. “By remaining close to the origin, we can maintain quality and retain a bond with the locality,” said its President, Joel Masoliver.
