Music is a means of giving form to our inner feelings without attaching them to events or objects in the world. "
"That animal should have his tail cut off right behind his ears. "
Call up the visions gardens and order m e a newer planet to live and work on. This old earth is too bilboed and shackled, too chained, too beat, too narrow, too filthy, too vile and poisonous, and too near death for m e to dwell or grown on. I think i'll find it very soon, now that i a m gone from this old planet.
"There is no such thing as a right to live, a right to work, or a right to be happy: in this respect, m a n is not different from the meanest w o r m . " Nietzsche
"Strip m e of m y fantasies and let m e feel the pain and bitter truth. A n d while m y twisted tear-streaked face begins to peel away the artificial layers, SMILE, then watch as false walls crumble in m y mind. They have no meaning any m o r e to bind the dead ideas of self-inflicted w o e . A n d while i struggle, i succumb, and m o a n s of fright are cries of joy. At last the bitterness is sweet to taste. M y bones can breathe. The dread of shaking off m y past is gone. N o w pain is joy and love. All i feel is life !"

Editors Note
"What are we trying to practice every day? If our friendship depends on things like space and time, then when w e finally overcome space and time, we've destroyed our own brotherhood! But over come space, and all we have left is here. Overcome time, and all we have left is now. And in the middle of here and now, don't you think that we might see each other once or twice?"
In being at Proctor, I know that I have not overcome time and space in it's true sence. I think that I have overcome the time and space between people and living and learning at Proctor. The people of it's community have guided m e to find the here and now of people of the community. In being the editor of Proctor's yearbook, it has helped m e learn about people and having to work with them and keep them happy. I had alot of fun doing it. I hope they did also. I would like to thank them for working with m e because I couldn't have done it m y self. These people are m y sister, Kim, for doing the artwork. Moira for the money which she helped get for the book. Rob for doing the ads. Jon and especially Guddy, Richard Cox who had to work with an inexperienced editor. Thanks everybody, Micheal Rudkin '75
