| PMA.COM/EVENTS/TECH-KNOWLEDGE

Welcome Welcome to PMA’s 6th Tech Knowledge Symposium! We are excited to have such a great group of industry leaders gathered from across the global produce and floral industries. Technology is driving change in food production. We are gaining benefits from improved efficiencies with increasingly better tools stretching from planting to retail inventory. But technology will also cause seismic disruptions in entire food supply chain and sometimes it’s hard to keep up and sift through to find what truly will provide solutions. Tech Knowledge will focus this year on today’s most effective and exciting solutions, curated by trusted leaders in AgTech. By exploring how to support and adopt innovation of existing and emerging technologies we can obtain solutions that improve efficiencies and make life easier. Over the course of the symposium, you will have the opportunity to connect with thought leaders and entrepreneurs who are disrupting the status quo and working towards a better tomorrow. We will hear from Wells Fargo, Microsoft, McKinsey and more. They will explain how the tech landscape is changing and what solutions are coming your way to drive efficiencies and respond to the increased power of consumer demands. As always, we could not put on great events like Tech Knowledge without the generous contributions of our sponsors who are listed later in the program. Please be sure to make note of who they are and thank them while you are here. Additionally, we would also like to thank the PMA Science & Technology Committee and those members that serve on our Technology Task Force for their Insightful leadership. The full committee list is also part of this program with the Technology Task Force notated with an asterisk. We hope you find the next two days to be informative and thought provoking and that you walk away better prepared to tackle issues facing the produce and floral industries by leveraging new and existing technologies for your business. I look forward to connecting with you this week and throughout the year. Sincerely,

Vonnie Estes Vice President, Technology, PMA P.S. – Join the conversation on social media at #TechKnowledge.
