BAREBACK RIDING $$$ = Projected Top 5 Money Winner
= Dark Horse
Kaycee FEILD $$$
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Kaycee Feild doesn’t need any introductions when it comes to bareback riding. He’s going to win a few go rounds, place in a few more, and is the favorite to win the average and the World Championship. However, he did have hip surgery back in the Spring, but seemed to be back at 100% when the season ended.
Hometown: Spanish Fork, UT - Key Win: San Antonio, TX WNFR Qualifications: 8
Austin FOSS $$
Austin Foss seems to handle stronger horses well, has a great riding style and could be one of the guys with a chance to knock Kaycee Feild from the top of the leaderboard. Foss is making his 3rd trip to the WNFR so he knows the routine and how to handle the pressure. Austin Foss is definitely a contender.
Hometown: Terrebonne, OR - Key Win: San Angelo, TX WNFR Qualifications: 3
Jake BROWN
Jake Brown is a first time qualifier to the WNFR so that might hurt him a bit as far as fantasy picks are concerned. Look for Brown to shine when they run the hoppers in and if he can draw the right ones when the eliminators are out, Brown could have an outstanding week. $130,000 might be a little high for a first timer though.
Hometown: Hillsboro, TX - Key Win: Logandale, NV WNFR Qualifications: 1
Evan JAYNE
Evan Jayne is another first time qualifier so he’ll have to figure out how to handle the WNFR pressure if he’s going to help your fantasy team. Jayne has all the talent in the world and a favorable draw will boost his chances of winning big money. Look for Evan Jayne to be in the top 3 in the average in the later rounds.
Hometown: Rockwall, TX - Key Win: Deadwood, SD WNFR Qualifications: 1
Bobby MOTE
Bobby Mote may be getting into the later stages of his career, but he still rides with the best of them. Mote was battling some nagging injuries so it will be interesting to see how healthy he is when the chute gate opens on the opening night. He hasn’t drawn all that well in years past, maybe that will change for him this year.
Hometown: Stephenville, TX - Key Win: Denver, CO WNFR Qualifications: 15
Clint CANNON
Clint Cannon obviously has the talent to compete for the World Title, but will need the draw in his favor in Las Vegas. Cannon is usually in great physical shape so he might be one of the more healthy bareback riders in the final few rounds. If he draws well, Clint Cannon could make your team a contender for the truck.
Hometown: Waller, TX - Key Win: Red Lodge, MT WNFR Qualifications: 5
Tim O’CONNEL
Tim O’Connell suffered an injury to his riding hand at the Calgary Stampede and also took a couple of rough buckoffs at his 1st WNFR in 2014. His success will depend on how his hand has healed since the end of the season. If he aggravates that injury again in the early part of the week, it will be tough for him to make any noise.

Tanner AUS
8 9 10 11 1 2 12 1 3 13 14 14 15 15
Tanner Aus might be the one first timer that can make some serious noise. He finished out the regular season riding very strong and has really stepped his game up in 2015. Like all first time qualifiers, he’ll need to figure out the ins and outs of being an WNFR cowboy in a hurry if he wants to be a serious contender.
Hometown: Granite Falls, MN, - Key Win: Cheyenne, WY WNFR Qualifications: 1
Will LOWE
Will Lowe has been there, done that when it comes to bareback riding. In the past few years, it just seems like he’s struggled to really be a valuable fantasy player for whatever reason. If Will Lowe is on his game mentally he could contend for the gold buckle, if not he should still be a decent pick if you’re just trying to fill a spot.
Hometown: Canyon, TX - Key Win: Lawton, OK WNFR Qualifications: 14
Orin LARSEN
Orin Larsen is another cowboy making his first trip to the WNFR. He may not be picked by very many people. People picking him will either really help make up ground or take you out of the running. With some of the more experienced guys ranked lower, he will be a hard pick for $60,000 salary cap.
Hometown: Inglis, MB - Key Win: Greeley, CO WNFR Qualifications: 1
Caleb BENNETT
Caleb Bennett has been fighting injuries for a good part of the season. He has a kind of wild style to him that is fun to watch when he’s on the right kind of horses. He’s had success in Las Vegas before, but most of his value will come if he can draw the kind of horses that will fit his style of riding.
Hometown: Tremonton, UT - Key Win: Salinas, CA WNFR Qualifications: 4
Seth HARDWICK
Seth Hardwick won several Wrangler Champions Challenges throughout the season, so he obviously has the talent to ride with the rest of the guys in this field. He’s a rookie to the WNFR, but has been on the rodeo trail for several years. Harwick will win his fair share in Vegas and he’ll be worth the $40,000 salary cap it takes to get him.
Hometown: Laramie, WY - Key Win: Spanish Fork, UT WNFR Qualifications: 1
Clint LAYE
Clint Laye might be the pick of the bottom 5 guys. He’s been to the Canadian Finals and knows how to handle the stronger horses and eliminator type broncs. He’ll have his hands full, that’s for sure, but don’t count him out. He’ll place in some go rounds and will be in the average race as the 10th round approaches.
Hometown: Cadogan, AB - Key Win: Caldwell, ID WNFR Qualifications: 1
Steven PEEBLES $
You’ve got to hand it to a guy that almost dies in July, sits out 6 weeks during the summer, and still manages to qualify for the WNFR. Peebles was also injured at the WNFR a year ago and had to bow out early so he’s had his share of bad luck lately. If he can stay healthy, he will be one of the top money earners in this event.
Hometown: Redmond, OR - Key Win: Omaha, NE WNFR Qualifications: 7
Winn RATLIFF
Winn Ratliff is one of the smaller cowboys in the field of bareback riders so how he handles the bigger, stronger pens will be interesting. He’ll need to survive those nights and really shine in the hopper pen and the TV pen if he’s going to be a valuable part of your fantasy team. Look for him to be top 5 in the average.

STEER WRESTLING $$$ = Projected Top 5 Money Winner
= Dark Horse
Clayton HASS
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Clayton Hass is going to do well in Vegas. He’s riding his horse Cadillac which helped him take over the #1 spot on the final weekend of the season. Hass is a big, athletic bulldoger and doesn’t have many weaknesses no matter the set up. The 2014 WNFR ($37,698) will be a distant memory when he nods his head this year.
Hometown: Terrell, TX - Key Win: Lawton, OK WNFR Qualifications: 2
Hunter CURE $
The last time Hunter Cure walked out of the Thomas & Mack he had a shiny, new gold buckle on his belt. He placed in 7 go rounds in 2013 to earn more than $175,000, so seeing him repeat that performance won’t be a huge surprise. If his horse is firing on all cylinders Cure could win it all again.
Hometown: Holliday, TX - Key Win: Reno, NV WNFR Qualifications: 3
Ty ERICKSON
Ty Erickson is a very strong bulldoger and had a great outing at his first WNFR in 2014. He placed in 5 go rounds and finished 2nd in the average. He’s a big, strong kid that might fit different set ups just a little better than he does the WNFR. He did handle it pretty well last year so he will probably come back with the same game plan.
Nick GUY
Hometown: Helena, MT - Key Win: Salinas, CA WNFR Qualifications: 2
Nick Guy jumped out and won the first go round last year then placed in 4 rounds after that. He picked up a check in the average but not the one fantasy owners were hoping for. Nick Guy will probably win a couple go rounds and cause a little excitement, but will need to be at the top of the average to help your fantasy team be a contender.
Hometown: Sparta, WI - Key Win: Cheyenne, WY WNFR Qualifications: 3
Kyle IRWIN $$
Kyle Irwin might be one of the more popular picks in Pro Fantasy Rodeo. He was very exciting last year at the WNFR, winning at least a share of 3 go rounds and almost $88,000. He’s probably going to ride the same horse he rode last year. He’s bulldogging better this year and has more confidence as well. Irwin might be the one to pick in the steer wrestling.
Hometown: Robersdale, AL - Key Win: Pleasant Grove, UT WNFR Qualifications: 2
Luke BRANQUINHO $$$
Luke Branquinho is always in the World Championship discussion no matter what kind of regular season he’s had. He’ll be running at the go rounds, which makes him extra dangerous, and he probably won’t back off of that game plan at all. He knows the start and knows what it’s going to take. $100,000 salary cap is a bargain for Branquinho.
Hometown: Los Alamos, CA - Key Win: St. Paul, OR WNFR Qualifications: 14
Tyler WAGUESPACK
Tyler Waguespack is a WNFR rookie and that usually scares fantasy owners a little. He’s a young kid so how he handles the Las Vegas lifestyle will be a big key to his success. He’ll probably ride the same horse Kyle Irwin will be riding, so he’s got the right pieces around him, it’s just going to come down to how he can handle being an WNFR contestant.

Seth BROCKMAN
8 9 10 11 12 13 14 1 5 15
Seth Brockman hasn’t had the success in Las Vegas that he’s hoped for in the past. He hasn’t won more than $28,500 either time he’s qualified. He will be riding a good horse, so if he can stay on the right end of the cattle, he may have chance.
Hometown: Wheatland, WY - Key Win: San Antonio, TX WNFR Qualifications: 3
Baylor ROCHE
Baylor Roche will be a decent pick as the #9 seed. He’s got the athleticism and style to do some good things in Las Vegas. Most of his success will be the horse power he has under him. If he’s on a horse that will let him catch cattle fast he should be a solid player for your fantasy team.
Hometown: Tremonton, UT - Key Win: Fort Worth, TX WNFR Qualifications: 1
Trevor KNOWLES
Trevor Knowles will be one of the more popoular picks in the 2015 Pro Fantasy Rodeo game. He’s normally near the top so, a $60,000 buy is a steal. There’s something different about Trevor this year. He’s thrown a lot of steers faster and has been snappier than in years past, so this may be his year.
Hometown: Mount Vernon, OR - Key Win: Salt Lake City, UT WNFR Qualifications: 12
K.C. JONES
KC Jones struggled at the 2014 WNFR winning 1 round and almost $20,000. Jones will almost certainly improve on that performance, and horsepower for him will be key. Jones is the oldest in the field at 44, so hopefully his experience will allow him to be a threat to place in the round each night.
Hometown: Decatur, TX - Key Win: Ellensburg, WA WNFR Qualifications: 9
Dakota ELDRIDGE
Dakota Eldridge has a lot of ground to make up if he’s going to be a contender for the World Title. He’s probably one of the better bulldoggers in the field and will have maturity and experience on his side, so how his horse works for him will determine a lot. He’s definitely worth the $40,000 salary cap.
Hometown: Elko, NV - Key Win: Pueblo, CO WNFR Qualifications: 3
Tanner MILAN
Tanner Milan could shock a lot of people in Las Vegas. He’s a first timer at the WNFR, but has really performed well at the Canadian Finals in years past. He could be a darkhorse and become a World Title contender if he does well the first few go rounds. Expect this Canadian to make some noise in the steer wrestling race.
Hometown: Cochrane, AB - Key Win: Heber City, UT WNFR Qualifications: 1
Casey MARTIN
Casey Martin is coming in at the bottom of the pack so he’ll have nothing to lose. If he has the right horse under him, look for him to improve on the $63,000 he won a year ago. Martin tends to do a little better on bigger cattle, so if they bring several pens of smaller steers he may not have the success needed to get to the top of the leaderboard.
Hometown: Sulphur, LA - Key Win: Cody, WY WNFR Qualifications: 5
Blake KNOWLES
Blake Knowles might be one of the more consistent cowboys by week’s end in Las Vegas. He’ll probably place in several go rounds and catch a check in the average, but when it comes to fantasy picks, you want someone that will make a splash. Knowles will need to take some chances if he’s going to make a very big splash for your team.

Clay Tryan might have the best head horse for this set up and he’s proven that he knows what it takes to win at the WNFR. He has Jade Corkill roping behind him and they have a way of getting the job done when it comes to winning the World Championship. Tryan and Corkill will take what they can get in the rounds and be at the top of the average.
Hometown: Billings, MT - Key Win: Pendleton, OR WNFR Qualifications: 14
Derrick BEGAY $$
Derrick Begay missed the WNFR 2014 and is back with a couple of really nice head horses. He’s had an outstanding rodeo season and look for them to continue that during the Finals. He’s roping with Clay O’Brien Cooper so look for them to be solid each night.
Hometown: Seba Dalkai, AZ - Key Win: Austin, TX WNFR Qualifications: 7
Chad MASTERS $
Chad Masters had a slow start to his season, but once the summer came around, he and Travis Graves went to winning and climbing up the World Standings. Masters won the World in 2012 when he roped with Clay O’Brien Cooper. He may have a little extra fire in his belly this year after finishing 16th in the World in 2014.
Hometown: Cedar Hill, TN - Key Win: Caldwell, ID WNFR Qualifications: 10
Trevor BRAZILE
Trevor Brazile is back with Patrick Smith this year after a one year hiatus. These two guys have run a lot of steers together inside the Thomas & Mack Center so experience won’t be a factor. Trevor usually has a barn full of good horses and 2015 shouldn’t be any different. One word describes Trevor Brazile… Winner!
Hometown: Decatur, TX - Key Win: Fort Worth, TX WNFR Qualifications: 12
Aaron TSINIGINE
Aaron Tsinigine is a very aggressive header and has a horse that will let him reach a little bit.Tsinigine and Ryan Motes could end up being one of the more explosive teams at the WNFR, but what they gain by going for the day money will cost them in the average.
Hometown: Tub City, AZ - Key Win: Cody, WY WNFR Qualifications: 2
Jake COOPER
Jake Cooper will be roping with a new partner Russell Cardoza. It’s hard to say how the new team will work out under the bright lights of Las Vegas. Most fantasy owners will pass on Cooper and pick Cardoza considering the circumstances and the $90,000 salary cap price difference.
Hometown: Monument, NM - Key Win: Salinas, CA WNFR Qualifications: 2
Colby LOVELL
Colby Lovell might have roped better this year than any other season of his career. He’ll be on the barrier and not afraid to let it fly. Expect Lovell to be the gunslinger of the bunch. He has a 20-time WNFR heeler behind him so if Lovell can keep things together on the head side, he might be a valuable pick at #7.

These two have had lots of success together over the last few years and are well worth the $80,000 & $60,000 salary caps. Rogers and Petska were highly picked when they qualified 2nd in 2014.
Hometown: Round Rock, AZ - Key Win: San Juan Capistrano, CA WNFR Qualifications: 5
Nick SARTAIN
Nick Sartain is usually very successful inside the Thomas & Mack and he has two horses that should be good in there. However, Sartain finished 15th in the average in 2014, so there’s only one way to go and that’s up. Sartain and Rich Skelton aren’t too far behind to think about the gold buckle if they can just be themselves.
Hometown: Dover, OK - Key Win: Pueblo, CO WNFR Qualifications: 6
Luke BROWN
Luke Brown was having an ‘ok’ year until the end of July when they won the Days of 47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City and the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, which are two completely different set ups. Luke Brown would like to forget last year’s $19,000 WNFR and will need to put it behind him if he’s going to make fantasy owners happy.
Hometown: Stephenville, TX - Key Win: Cheyenne, WY WNFR Qualifications: 8
Jake BARNES
Jake Barnes is roping with Brazilian, Junior Nogueira again, and although they are in the bottom third, they can contend for the gold buckle. Barnes knows the WNFR, being his 27th time to rope there, so he’s the Veteran of this team. Barnes will probably turn all 10 steers and give Nogueira a chance to make some magic.
Hometown: Scottsdale, AZ - Key Win: Cody, WY WNFR Qualifications: 27
Clay SMITH
Clay Smith is a young guy in his first trip to the WNFR and he is very talented. He has a nice horse and ropes outstanding, so the only drawback will be that he’s a Rookie. He’s roping with Paul Eaves so if he can do his job, Eaves should be able to clean it up on the back end.
Hometown: Broken Bow, OK - Key Win: Deadwood, SD WNFR Qualifications: 1
Coleman PROCTOR
Coleman Proctor was pretty successful in his first WNFR in 2014, winning close to $75,000. He placed in 6 rounds and if he can do that again, he’s well worth the $30,000 price tag. He’s roping with Jake Long and they could be a darkhorse in the World Title race.
Hometown: Pryor, OK - Key Win: Guymon, OK WNFR Qualifications: 2
Riley MINOR Riley and Brady Minor qualified for the WNFR on the final weekend of the season and they’ve seen their share of success inside the Thomas and Mack. The Minors will be strong in the average and can add some go round checks along the way.
Hometown: Ellensburg, WA - Key Win: Denver, CO WNFR Qualifications: 6
Matt SHERWOOD
Matt Sherwood has won 2 gold buckles in 3 trips to the WNFR, so all he knows about Vegas is that he wins a lot of money there. He’s roping with Travis Woodard who is ranked 7th so if nothing else, you can get a higher ranked heeler for only $10,000. They should be steadily placing in the rounds.

Jade CORKILL $$$
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Jade Corkill doesn’t miss many steers, but with the way the arena is set up in Las Vegas, he doesn’t always get the shot he wants. Corkill will be smart on the heel side and won’t take any throws that might take them out of the average. If they can place along in the rounds they could be valuable when the average is paid out.
Hometown: Fallon, NV - Key Win: Pendleton, OR WNFR Qualifications: 8
Clay O’BRIEN COOPER $$
Clay O’Brien Cooper is the best there’s ever been with a heel rope. He just missed out on his 8th World Championship a couple of years ago so he still has what it takes. Cooper also has one of the nicest heel horses at the WNFR so if they can draw good steers, look for them to be a contender for the gold buckle.
Hometown: Gardnerville, NV - Key Win: Austin, TX WNFR Qualifications: 29
Patrick SMITH
Patrick Smith will go to Las Vegas knowing exactly what to expect roping behind Trevor Brazile. They’ve roped a lot of steers together so that’s one advantage they have over some of the new teams. Team ropers don’t run many steers throughout the year in set ups like the Thomas & Mack, so look for Brazile and Smith to get off to a fast start.
Hometown: Lipan, TX - Key Win: Fort Worth, TX WNFR Qualifications: 12
Travis GRAVES $
Travis Graves will be heeling behind Chad Masters and has one of the better heel horses under him. Travis has done just about all he can do when it comes to the WNFR. If Masters can turn 10 steers for him, watch these guys give the leaders a run for their money.
Hometown: Jay, OK - Key Win: Caldwell, ID WNFR Qualifications: 7
Ryan MOTES
Ryan Motes is one of the more aggressive heelers in the team roping field. He’s roping with an aggressive header in Aaron Tsinigine. This could be great for your fantasy team in the go rounds, but could keep you from winning the RAM Truck at the end if they can’t stay in the average race.
Hometown: Weatherford, TX - Key Win: Greeley, CO WNFR Qualifications: 4
Kollin VONAHN
Kollin VonAhn will cost $100,000 in salary cap but, his partner Luke Brown is almost half the price. VohAhn should have a fairly consistent run with Luke Brown but fantasy owners will need more than that to get in the prize money.
Hometown: Blanchard, OK - Key Win: Cheyenne, WY WNFR Qualifications: 5
Travis WOODARD Travis Woodard will be roping with Matt Sherwood. They didn’t rope together in the regular season so it might be interesting to see how things go for them at first. Fantasy owners that like to split the team ropers up might pick Sherwood since he is ranked 15th and $80,000 cheaper.

Kory KOONTZ
8 9 10 11 1 2 12 1 3 13 1 4 14 15
Kory Koontz will ride into the Thomas & Mack for the 20th time in his career this year. He’s paired with Colby Lovell which adds the gunslinger mentality to this team. Koontz will more than likely take safe throws which should keep them in the average hunt.
Hometown: Stephenville, TX - Key Win: Omaha, NE WNFR Qualifications: 20
Paul EAVES
Paul Eaves will be as consistent as his WNFR rookie partner will let him be. If Clay Smith can turn 9 out of 10 steers, then they should be in the average race at the end. Most of Eaves’ success will be determined on how good of a start his partner can get during the first few rounds.
Hometown: Ionedell, MS - Key Win: Deadwood, SD WNFR Qualifications: 4
Cory PETSKA
Cory Petska will be roping behind Erich Rogers again this year. They have their run down in the Thomas & Mack, but struggled last year only roping 2 steers under 5 seconds flat. A team of this caliber can’t expect to have such a rough go again this year. Rogers and Petska are a bargain for fantasy owners.
Hometown: Marana, AZ - Key Win: San Juan Capistrano, CA WNFR Qualifications: 12
Rich SKELTON
Rich Skelton will be roping behind Nick Sartain and will be a guy to keep an eye on as the week starts to wind down. Skelton will take a swing or two over each steer so it will be important that Sartain stay out of the left fence. If he can do that, these guys will be knocking on the Tryan/ Corkill door.
Hometown: Llano, TX - Key Win: Pueblo, CO WNFR Qualifications: 22
Junior NOGUERIA
Junior Nogueira is one of the most electric heelers in the PRCA. Just watching YouTube videos of him will show you all you need to know. He ropes behind Jake Barnes and there shouldn’t be any excuses since Barnes is expected to turn all 10 steers clean. Nogueira’s biggest problem might be getting flagged out for cross-fire.
Hometown: Scottsdale, AZ - Key Win: Cody, WY WNFR Qualifications: 2
Jake LONG
Jake Long is a top 5 caliber heeler so picking him up this far down the list is a steal. He’ll be roping behind Coleman Proctor, who had success in his first WNFR in 2014. Proctor & Long could be the guys that come from nowhere to give the leaders a run for their money in the World Title race.
Hometown: Coffeyville, KS - Key Win: Guymon, OK WNFR Qualifications: 5
Brady MINOR
Brady Minor has one of the best heel horses going and will have the momentum of qualifying on the final weekend of the season on his side. The draw will play a big part in their success and if they can have a little luck the Minors should be good picks at #14.
Hometown: Ellensburg, WA - Key Win: Denver, CO WNFR Qualifications: 7
Russell CARDOZA
Russell Cardoza is roping with Jake Cooper for the first time this season. Fantasy owners can get the #6 header by picking Cardoza, so that’s one way to justify this pick. Plus, Cardoza has been to the Finals before with some success placing in the go-rounds. This team might raise a few eyebrows if they can get a consistent run together.

Cody DEMOSS
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Cody DeMoss sure has the confidence going in and has held down the #1 spot for most of the season. He won the 10th round last year so maybe that will give him some momentum. He’s finished 2nd in the World several times so he’s looking to get the ‘can’t win the big one’ title off his back.
Hometown: Heflin, LA - Key Win: Ponoka, AB WNFR Qualifications: 11
Rusty WRIGHT
Rusty Wright is a young guy and his headed to his first WNFR, but he’ll be the one Rookie to handle it like a Veteran. Being at the WNFR and around this caliber of bronc riders is all he knows. He’s the son of 2-Time World Champion Cody Wright and he’ll have a couple of Uncles competing against him as well.
Hometown: Milford, UT - Key Win: San Antonio, TX WNFR Qualifications: 1
Jacobs CRAWLEY $$
Jacobs Crawley is one of the most consistent bronc riders at the WNFR and if he can draw the horses he needs, he could be a World Title contender. He placed in 4 rounds last year and earned almost $60,000. He’ll do better than that this year so he’s a good pick at $130,000.
Hometown: Boerne, TX - Key Win: Clovis, CA WNFR Qualifications: 5
Isaac DIAZ $$$
Isaac Diaz may have had the best year of his career so far. He seems to be a little more confident this year, he’s been drawing some great horses and putting good rides together. He’ll probably jump to the top of the standings after the first few rounds and then it will be hard to catch him.
Hometown: Desdemona, TX - Key Win: Dodge City, KS WNFR Qualifications: 5
Taos MUNCY
Taos Muncy will be trying to win his 3rd World Championship. He had some bad luck in 2014 only placing in 2 rounds. In 2013 he had a more ‘Taos Muncy like’ performance, placing in 7 go rounds and 4th in the average. Don’t expect a repeat of last year’s Finals for Muncy. He’ll be a solid player in Pro Fantasy Rodeo.
Hometown: Corona, NM - Key Win: St. Paul, OR WNFR Qualifications: 8
Wade SUNDELL $
Wade Sundell knows a thing or two about winning at big time rodeos. He struggled at the beginning of the week in 2014 bucking off 2 of the first 4, but went on to win 3 rounds a year ago and almost $100,000. If he can get off to a good start and have the ‘nothing to lose’ mentality, he’ll be the man that walks away with the most money.
Hometown: Coleman, OK - Key Win: San Angelo, TX WNFR Qualifications: 7
Cort SCHEER
Not much phases Cort Scheer, which is a good thing for a guy competing for the World Title in Las Vegas. He always has a positive attitude. Fantasy owners are hoping he’ll place in the top 2 in the average again and win a few more go rounds than he did in 2014 to really send their teams to the top of the leaderboard.

Jake WRIGHT
8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15
Jake Wright will be a great pick at $80,000 salary cap value. He’s always in the hunt for the go round win, usually up there in the top 3 money earners in this event and it shouldn’t be any different in 2015. Look for more of the same with Jake and use the extra salary cap elsewhere.
Hometown: Milford, UT - Key Win: San Capistrano, CA WNFR Qualifications: 4
Chuck SCHMIDT Chuck Schmidt is back at the WNFR for the first time since 2011. He finished 17th in the World in 2013 then took a year off in 2014, so he seems re-energized this season. He’s back in top form this season and has plans of taking a large portion of the prize money back to South Dakota.
Hometown: Keldron, SD - Key Win: Austin, TX WNFR Qualifications: 2
Spencer WRIGHT
Spencer Wright proved last year that he’s here to stay and that he means business. He placed in 9 out of 10 rounds, won the average and the World Title and almost $150,000. The last name alone says that nothing will bother him and that he’s a contender no matter the situation.
Hometown: Milford, UT - Key Win: Pendleton, OR WNFR Qualifications: 2
Zeke THURSTON
Zeke Thurston is a new guy that has a lot of talent, but not much experience in big time situations. However, he’s shown that the big stage doesn’t bother him much, winning rodeos like Prescott, Hermiston and Houston this past year. You can throw out all the excuses with this kid, he’s the real deal.
Hometown: Big Valley, AB - Key Win: Prescott, AZ WNFR Qualifications: 1
Bradley HARTER
Bradley Harter hasn’t had the best showing at the WNFR the last 3 years finishing 15th in the World all 3 times. Look for Harter to have a little extra motivation this year. Bradley will improve this year and the $40,000 price tag is something fantasy owners will be happy about.
Hometown: Loranger, LA - Key Win: Cheyenne, WY WNFR Qualifications: 10
Heith DEMOSS
Heith DeMoss is one of the most exciting guys to watch ride broncs. It’s usually 90 or nothing so that’s what it will likely be for fantasy owners as well. Coming in near the bottom of the pack will make him that much more exciting to watch, and if he can survive the eliminator pen, DeMoss could contend for the Top Gun Award.
Hometown: Heflin, LA - Key Win: Reno, NV WNFR Qualifications: 7
CoBurn BRADSHAW
CoBurn Bradshaw is part of the Wright family so the bright lights probably won’t phase him as much as they will other first time qualifiers. He really didn’t have any big wins this year so that says a lot about his consistency. Fantasy owners will want a little more than consistency so he’ll need to put some big numbers on the board.
Hometown: Beaver, UT - Key Win: Salinas, CA WNFR Qualifications: 1
Tyrel LARSEN
Tyrel Larsen did a lot of his damage North of the border this season, winning 3 Canadian rodeos. The #15 guy in the saddle bronc riding hasn’t done much the last 3 years, failing to win over $40,000 any of those years. If Larsen can win 3 or 4 rounds and stay in the average, fantasy owners will be extremely happy.

Hometown: Decatur, TX - Key Win: Lovington, NM WNFR Qualifications: 8
Timber MOORE $$$
Timber Moore had an outstanding regular season riding Colonel, the reserve AQHA Horse of the Year. Moore will be a force to deal with at the Thomas and Mack Center and could be the MVP of your fantasy team. If Timber Moore can get off to a solid start and place in the first few rounds, he could claim his first gold buckle.
Hometown: Aubrey, TX - Key Win: Pecos, TX WNFR Qualifications: 4
Marty YATES $$
Marty Yates made lots of noise last year in his first trip to the WNFR, winning the first go-round with a time 7.4 seconds. Yates tied 2 calves in the 6 second range, but took a no-time in the final 3 rounds. Look for Marty to win more money in the go-rounds than the average, bringing the ‘all or nothing’ mentality to your fantasy team.
Hometown: Stephenville, TX - Key Win: Cheyenne, WY WNFR Qualifications: 2
Hunter HERRIN
Hunter Herrin placed in 7 of 10 go rounds at the 2014 WNFR, but only earned $37,698. He’ll need to place deeper in the rounds if he’s going to help your fantasy team win the title. This could be Herrin’s year if he can get off to a decent start and rope sharp all 10 nights. He will be riding Rambo, the 2014 AQHA Horse of the Year.
Hometown: Apache, OK - Key Win: Spanish Fork, UT WNFR Qualifications: 8
Trevor BRAZILE
Trevor Brazile had an outstanding WNFR a year ago and there’s no reason he won’t do it again this season. He can tie calves as fast as anyone in the field and usually rides one of the nicest horses in the field. Look for Brazile to be solid all week and show up in the World Championship discussion as the week progresses.
Hometown: Decatur, TX - Key Win: Salt Lake City, UT WNFR Qualifications: 16
Caleb SMIDT $
Caleb Smidt will be making his first trip back to the WNFR for the first time since breaking his leg in May of 2014. He had a great Summer run winning Sheridan, Nampa, Deadwood, and Dodge City. He’ making his 2nd trip to Las Vegas so the pressure and bright lights shouldn’t phase him.
Hometown: Bellville, TX - Key Win: Nampa, ID WNFR Qualifications: 2
Ryan JARRETT
Ryan Jarrett is a solid pick in a field full of great talent. Jarrett probably won’t win many rounds, but will place in his fair share and should be solid in the average. If you’re looking for a ‘sleeper’, he could be the one. Look for Ryan Jarrett shine when they rope the big pen and to tie more than a few calves in the low 7 second range.

Matt SHIOZAWA
8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15
Matt Shiozawa knows how to win in Las Vegas, winning the average back in 2011. A PRCA gold buckle is about the only thing he hasn’t won. This could be his year if he can continue to rope sharp and if he catches a few breaks. With a PFR Fantasy Value of $80,000, Shiozawa is well worth the money.
Hometown: Chubbuck, ID - Key Win: San Juan Capistrano, CA WNFR Qualifications: 8
Marcos COSTA
Costa is making his first trip to the WNFR so it could be hit or miss depending on how he handles everything that goes with roping in Vegas. He’ll have former World Champion Stran Smith in his corner to help him along, but once he nods his head he’ll have to continue what he’s done all year… Win!
Hometown: Childress, TX - Key Win: Logandale, NV WNFR Qualifications: 1
Monty LEWIS
Monty Lewis expects to win every time he backs in the box. He’s the kind of cowboy that can string 3 or 4 go round wins together and really be a valuable player for your team. He’ll only cost you $60,000 of salary cap money and should easily pull his weight to keep your team in contention.
Hometown: Hereford, TX - Key Win: Lawton, OK WNFR Qualifications: 6
Cory SOLOMON Cory Solomon finished 16th in the World the past 2 seasons so he should have plenty of motivation when he shows up at the Thomas & Mack. He’ll be a threat to win the go round every night depending on the horse power he has under him. Solomon’s fire will be lit, so look for big things from him.
Hometown: Prairie View, TX - Key Win: San Antonio, TX WNFR Qualifications: 3
Cade SWOR
Cade Swor made his return to Las Vegas a year ago and had a decent showing, placing in 4 rounds and winning almost $75,000. He’ll be riding one of the nicest, if not THE nicest horse at the Finals, so winning should be easy if he can draw on the better end of the cattle. We’re tagging Cade Swor as the ‘darkhorse’.
Hometown: Winnie, TX - Key Win: Odgen, UT WNFR Qualifications: 5
Sterling SMITH
Sterling Smith will be back at the WNFR after missing the cut in 2014. He placed in 3 rounds in 2013, but will have to improve on that if he’s going to help get your team to the top. Smith could be near the top of the average standings in the later stages of the rodeo so don’t rule him out.
Hometown: Stephensville, TX - Key Win: Fort Worth, TX WNFR Qualifications: 2
Tyson DURFEY
Tyson Durfey is a bargain at $20,000. Tyson is a World Champion caliber cowboy, he just didn’t have the regular season he’d hoped for. The tie-down roping field is as tough as any event so going with a lower ranked tie-down and spending that money in another event may pay huge dividends.
Hometown: Savannah, MO - Key Win: Moses Lake, WA WNFR Qualifications: 8
Shane HANCHEY
Shane Hanchey qualified on the final weekend of the season. He’s a World Champion that has proven he can win inside the Thomas & Mack. He owns the arena record on 10 head and will be coming into this year’s Finals with absolutely nothing to lose. Look for Hanchey to climb the World Standings fast as he piles up the money.

Sage Kimzey will be the favorite to win the average and the World Title again this year. He won over $175,000 at his first WNFR a year ago and he’s only gotten better. He’s got the style to ride any bull they draw for him so in an event that is the hardest to predict, Sage Kimzey seems like a sure bet. Look for him to win 5 go rounds.
Hometown: Strong City, OK - Key Win: Pendleton, OR WNFR Qualifications: 2
Parker BREDING
Parker Breding had a decent showing at his first WNFR in 2013. Breding had his most successful season this year winning 13 different rodeos and really seemed to be at his best toward the end of the season. If he can get off to a good start in Las Vegas, look for Breding to make a little noise in the World Title race.
Hometown: Edgar, MT - Key Win: Omaha, NE WNFR Qualifications: 2
Brennon ELDRED $$
This is a different Brennon Eldred than we saw at the Thomas & Mack in 2014. He struggled in his first trip to the Finals after bucking off the first few rounds. Eldred has the ‘first time’ out of the way and is ready to contend for the gold buckle. If his groin is 100% and his mind is right, he could ride all 10 bulls.
Hometown: Sulphur, OK - Key Win: Lovington, NM NFR Qualifications: 1
Wesley SILCOX
Wesley Silcox is making his first trip back to the WNFR since the 2011 season. He seems to be re-focused on riding bulls and has had one of his more successful regular seasons. He’ll cost you $120,000 of salary cap but he’s proven that he can win in Las Vegas so look for big things out of the 2007 World Champion.
Hometown: Santaquin, UT - Key Win: Salt Lake City, UT NFR Qualifications: 7
Chandler BOWDS
Chandler Bowds has perfected the ‘every other year’ plan, qualifying in 2011, 2013, and now in 2015. He placed in 3 go rounds in 2013 so he’ll need to improve on that if he’s going to be a valuable player on your fantasy team. Bownds should be pretty healthy when he shows up in Vegas so look for him to improve on his last WNFR.
Hometown: Lubbock, TX - Key Win: San Antonio, TX WNFR Qualifications: 3
Joe FROST
Joe Frost had an outstanding outing at his first WNFR in 2014, winning 2 rounds, placing in 3 others, and finishing 2nd in the average behind Sage Kimzey. He’s a taller guy and his style of riding isn’t one that will earn many 90 point rides. Frost’s consistency should place in at least 5 rounds and top 2 or 3 in the average.
Hometown: Randlett, UT - Key Win: Bremerton, WA WNFR Qualifications: 2
Cody TEEL $
Cody Teel is another tall guy that has a high riding percentage. He won the World Championship at his first WNFR in 2012 and also won the 2014 CBR Championship. Shane Proctor is back at the WNFR after missing out in 2014. Not much phases this guy and most of the time he can’t tell you what bull he’s drawn until he shows up to the arena. He stays calm and loose and doesn’t over think things which will help him contend for the gold buckle, especially in the last 4 rounds.
Hometown: Grand Coulee, WA - Key Win: Salinas, CA WNFR Qualifications: 4
Brett STALL
Brett Stall is a little guy that is pretty exciting to watch. He’s got a flashy style that usually lights up the scoreboard when he makes the whistle. He should improve on his 2012 WNFR qualification, where he only placed in 3 rounds. Look for Brett Stall to win more in the go-rounds than in the average.
Hometown: Detroit Lakes, MN - Key Win: Cody, WY WNFR Qualifications: 2
Dustin BOWEN
Dustin Bowen seems to be a little streaky at times so hopefully he’ll be on a hot streak the first part of December if you spend the $60,000 to pick him. He’ll be dealing with all the stuff that goes along with your first time at the WNFR and as much as they like to say it’s just another rodeo… it’s not!
Hometown: Waller, TX - Key Win: Rapid City, SD WNFR Qualifications: 1
Clayton FOLTYN
You can’t ever count Clayton Foltyn out. He can ride bulls into or away from his hand. He started riding with a Brazilian rope this year and looks to be riding better this year than ever before. As with most of the guys, if he can draw the right bulls in certain pens, he could really pile up some money in Las Vegas.
Hometown: Winnie, TX - Key Win: Reno, NV WNFR Qualifications: 3
Caleb SANDERSON
Caleb Sanderson knows how to handle the bright lights. He’s been to the PBR Finals several times so he’s been on some of the best bulls in the world. He’s not a guy to put up a 90+ point ride very often but his consistency is what makes him a good pick.
Hometown: Hallettsville, TX - Key Win: Brighton, FL WNFR Qualifications: 1
Ty WALLACE
Ty Wallace is back for the 2nd year in a row. In 2014 he placed in 2 rounds and only left town with $26,000. That’s nothing to sneeze at, but not what fantasy owners are looking for. In his defense, he was a little sore during last year’s WNFR so staying healthy and positive will be a key for Wallace this year.
Hometown: Collbran, CO - Key Win: Puyallup, WA WNFR Qualifications: 2
Reid BARKER
Reid Barker really turned it on at the end of the season, winning on the very last bull of the season in New Braunsfels, TX. He seemed to be fighting his head a little bit at the 2014 WNFR and failed to pick up a check. That will change this year, and with him coming in ranked 14th it won’t cost much against the salary cap.
Hometown: Comfort, TX - Key Win: New Braunsfels, TX WNFR Qualifications: 2
Kody DESHON
Kody DeShon has a shoulder issue that he’ll have to deal with and 10 bulls in a row could take it’s toll by the end of the week. If he can keep from getting banged up he might be able to win a few go rounds and be the darkhorse of the bull riding field.
