Though most of the colleges seem to be happy with the availability of resources, there are some strong differences between the men and women of each specific college i.e. men are much less happy than women with the resources provided in education. This unhappiness could be attributed to many confounding confounding vaiables, but would strongly cause the stress of men in the educational department to increase because of the view of a lack of materials.

The Pursuit of Happiness Salary plays a large part in whether or not a faculty member finds happiness in their job , and perceives their teaching experience as what they had imagined it being. It is proven that someone will seem happier with a dull task if they are paid less, contrary to popular belief. Working as a faculty memeber is not the same, however. There are many other factors than salary that play a role in a faculty member leaving, but among tenure, evironment,
research, retirement, and stress, salary is the greatest reason for faculty at The Ohio State University to leave.
