Granite Pendant
Step by Step
Copper Blank (99 185 34) Texture Black Efcolor Powder (93 702 89)
Materials
1. Lightly sand the copper blank. 2. Cover it with a layer of texture black Efcolor powder. 3. Place the blank on the tealight stove to heat until the powder has melted. Then remove it and leave it to cool. 4. Repeat Steps 2-3 if necessary. 5. Ink up the surface with a Versamark ink pad (preferably an old one so the surface isn’t too wet). 6. Lay a piece of silver leaf over the top two thirds of the pendant, patting it down to adhere it. 7. Use a stencil brush to break up the silver leaf before covering the blank with a thin layer of clear transparent powder. 8. Heat on the tealight stove to melt the powder, then remove it and leave it to cool. 9. Remove any stray powder from the back with sandpaper before attaching it to the rubber necklace with a bail.

Paris Papp Art (26 319 02)
Step by Step 1. Paint the edges of the papp art with black acrylic paint and leave to dry. 2. Cover the front of the papp art with black Efcolor powder. 3. Place it on a foil covered baking tray in a kitchen oven at 150ยบC until the powder has melted. 4. When cool, cover it with more black powder. 5. Apply patches of gold metallic powder. 6. Use tweezers to position Swarovski crystals in the powder. 7. Place the papp art back in the oven to melt the powder and lock in the crystals. 8. If necessary you can always touch up the edges with more black acrylic paint.

Step by Step
Square Copper Pendant Blank (90 050 39)
Materials
1. Lightly sand both sides of the blank and wipe clean. Place the blank on a U-strip. 2. Cover with a good layer of black Efcolor and heat on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 3. When cool, place it back on the U-strip, black side down. Cover the other side with orange and pink neon powders. 4. Place the blank on the firing stand and replace on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 5. Remove the stand from the heat and wait until the blank has cooled before lifting it off. 6. Lay the blank on a sheet of paper with the stencil over the top. Cover it with a thin layer of black powder before carefully removing the stencil. 7. Heat it on the firing stand again until the powder has melted. When cool, remove it from the stand & use a jump ring to attach it to the necklace.

Materials
Oval Copper Blank (99 185 44)
Step by Step 1. Lightly sand the blank and wipe clean. 2. Place it on a U-strip and cover with a good layer of white Efcolor. 3. Heat it on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 4. Use a wet brush to ‘cut’ out a butterfly from the top layer of a napkin. 5. When cool, smear a little pva glue over the surface of the enamelled blank. When it has gone tacky lay the napkin motif over the top, gently pressing it down all over. 6. When completely dry, sprinkle a little pearlescent mica powder over the butterfly’s wings before covering with a layer of clear transparent powder. 7. Reheat the blank on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 8. When cool, attach it to some alcantara cord with a jump ring.

Step by Step
Round Copper Blank (99 185 37) Black Efcolor Powder (93 700 89)
Materials
1. Lightly sand the blank and wipe clean. 2. Cover the blank with a good layer of black Efcolor powder. 3. Heat on the tealight stove until melted. If necessary, when cool, apply a second coat. 4, Position the brass stencil across the top of the pendant. 5. First apply a thin layer of olive Efcolor over the stems & leaves - just enough to block out the black underneath. Apply some yellow over the buds with a touch of old rose. 6. Carefully lift the stencil and brush away any stray specks of powders if needed. 7. Place it back on the tealight stove to melt the powder. 8. When cool, place the stencil over the bottom of the pendant lining up the top row of buds on the bottom enamelled row. Repeat steps 5-7. 9. When cool, use a jump ring to attach it to the necklace.
TopTip: Sand the back of the pendant to clean it of any stray enamel and then use nail varnish to seal it and stop it tarnishing.

80x80mm Collage Blanks (90 001 06)
Step by Step 1. Lightly sand the blank and wipe clean. 2. Cover it with random patches of golden yellow, turquoise, mallow and bright pink Efcolor until it is completely covered. 3. Heat on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 4. Ink up the texture mat with black StazOn ink and carefully stamp it on the cooled blank. 5. Cover the blank with a thin layer of transparent powder. 6. Place it back on the tealight stove to melt. Before removing from the stove use tweezers to drop crystals into the enamel. 7. Enamel another panel with the same colours for the back. 8. When cool, stick the panels at either end of a piece of card measuring approx 80 x 170mm. 9. Use an embossing tool to score the card along the edge of each panel and fold. Stick a post-it note block inside.

Step by Step

Materials
1. Lightly sand the aluminum blank. 2. Cover it with a good layer of black Efcolor powder. 3. Place it on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 4. When cool, lay the stencil over the enamelled blank. Hold it in position with some low tack tape. 5. Sponge the iridescent acrylics through the butterfly stencil and leave to dry. 6. Cover the blank with a thin layer of transparent Efcolor and place on the stove to melt. 7. As the powder melts, allowing you to see the butterfly, use tweezers to drop on the crystal whilst it is still on the stove. 8. When cool, stick the peel off greeting on. 9. Score & fold in half the front of the card. Use double-sided tape to stick the blank to folded part of the card front. 10. Stick a peel off on the inside of the card to finish.

Materials

Step by Step 1. Lightly sand both sides of the blank. 2. Cover one side with white Efcolor and heat on the tealight stove until melted. 3. When cool, cover the other side with white Efcolor and place it on the stand before heating on the tealight stove. When the powder has melted remove the stand from the heat and leave the blank on it until cool. 4. Cover the blank with another thin layer of white. Add a sprinkling of light turquoise for the sky. Add a dusting of grass green over the bottom before touches of light blue, mallow, bright pink, golden yellow, orange and red (as pictured). 5. Pop a crystal into the powder before placing back on the stand to heat and cool. 6. Use a jump ring to attach it to the rotating key chain.

Step by Step

Materials
1. Sand the blank before covering it with a mix of dark green and mallow Efcolor powders. Heat it on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. (Repeat if necessary to achieve a smooth glossy finish.) 2. Whilst the blank is still on the stove ink up your rubber stamp with a VersaMark ink pad. 3. Take the blank off the stove and immediately stamp into the hot enamel, pressing down firmly. Carefully remove the blank from the rubber stamp. 4. Mix a little gold mica powder with a drop of water. 5. ‘Splodge’ the paint into all the recesses without worrying about going over the raised surface. 6. Leave it for a few moments before using a baby wipe to clean the raised surface. 7. To protect your finished piece spray it with gloss varnish when dry.

Step by Step 1. Lightly sand the aluminium blank. 2. Cover with a good layer of white Efcolor powder. 3. Heat on the tealight stove until the powder has melted. 4. Once cool, place the brass stencil over the top. 5. Lightly dust the design with light and dark blue Efcolor powder. nb. Use just enough powder to block out the white. 6. Carefully lift the stencil to remove it. Use a small paint brush to wipe away any stray specks of powder before placing the blank back on the stove to heat. 7. When cool, use double-sided tape to stick the enamelled blank to a piece of blue card. 8. Cut the card to leave a 5mm border before matting it onto the white card with more double-sided tape.

Step by Step
80x80mm Collage Blanks (90 001 06) Ivory Efcolor Powder (93 700 02) Clear Transparent Efcolor Powder (93 701 00)
Materials
1. Sand & cover a blank with a good layer of ivory Efcolor. 2. Heat on the tealight stove until the powder has melted leaving a super smooth glossy finish. (A second coat may be required to achieve this.) 3. When cool, stamp the image in the middle of the blank using black StazOn ink. Carefully colour in the design with alcohol markers so as not to reactivate the black ink. 4. When dry, cover it with a thin layer of transparent powder and reheat until melted. 5. When cool, stick the blank to the card, lining up the bottom with the edge of the card. 6. Score & fold the card along the top of the blank and again approx. 1 cm above that (or the depth of your post-it block). 7. Enamel another blank with ivory Efcolor & stick this to the card along the second score line. 8. Trim the excess card and insert the post-it block.

Step by Step 1. Lightly sand the blank and wipe clean. 2. Cover it with a good layer of white Efcolor and heat on the tealight stove until melted. 3. When cool, cover with another layer of white Efcolor and a light dusting of light turquoise. Add touches of light green, dark green, light blue, mauve and mallow towards the bottom edge before reheating. 4. Once cool, use coloured StazOn ink pads to stamp flowers and grasses randomly over the coloured areas. 5. Stamp the bird with black Staz-on ink. Add a touch of cognac Efcolor over the body, using a brush to sweep away any stray powder before reheating. 6. When cool, paint the wings, head and tail of the bird with blue acrylic paint. Leave to dry. 7. Cover the entire blank with a thin layer of clear Efcolor and reheat.
