WELCOME FROM THE CHAIR & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR It gives us great pleasure to welcome you all to every “Back To the 80s, The Totally Awesome Musical.” Our show will see you go on a journey. As our largest show to date we would like to thank everyone for their support and involvement in our company over the past six months in preparation for this production – from our enthusiastic and talented young people, to our sponsors, youth and parent volunteers and of course you our wonderful audience members. JAMIE O’ROURKE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Our Charity of the Year – ABERLOUR CHILDCARE TRUST Through choosing a Charity of the Year every year we aim to become involved, work with and help promote another not for profit group making a positive impact in our local community (especially those working with young people). Aberlour is the largest, solely Scottish, children’s charity and provide help to over 6000 of Scotland’s most vulnerable children, young people and their families. Making a difference for over 140 years, Aberlour give children the best possible start in life. Working in partnership with Local Authorities, childcare professionals, and companies, Aberlour’s staff team of 700 people provide specialist services for children, young people and families across Scotland. PLEASE NOTE: RAFFLE PRIZES Raffle Tickets and Programmes are available pre-show and during interval which will last approximately 15 minutes. Our Raffle will be drawn at tonight’s interval and can be collected at Front of House at the end of the performance. Light refreshments are available during the interval also.

CHARITY DONATIONS Our chosen charity this year is Aberlour Child Care Trust and donations are welcome at the end of the show as you leave the theatre.

CREATIVE TEAM JAMIE OROURKE  ARTISTIC DIRECTOR Now directing our fifth production Jamie is delighted to see Project Theatre, founded five years ago, go from strength to strength. For his work with PT and other local arts organisations Jamie was delighted to be awarded 2013 Falkirk Young Personality of the Year for his services to drama and young people and is looking forward to starting a performance degree at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

CALUM CAMPBELL  MUSICAL DIRECTOR Calum is new to our production team this year but has been involved in local arts for many years having been a member of Falkirk Operatic Society and Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions taking many lead roles. As well as being an accomplished musician Calum has now directed youth theatre for a couple of years and continues to expand his skills.

EILIDH MORTON  MUSICAL DIRECTOR Eilidh has been part of Project Theatre for just over a year. This is her 3rd production with Project Theatre. She was Musical Director for Wizard of Oz and Dreams and has helped with music and costumes for this spectacular production. She is looking forward to continuing with Project Theatre as they continue to grow with their success.

LOUISE MONTGOMERY  CHOREOGRAPHER Louise has been PT choreographer for 2 years. She began dancing with Stenhouse School of Dance and was also a dancer for Larbert Operatic Society. This year Louise will be working with Project Theatre doing dance workshops for young people. This is Louise's favourite PT show to date, as she thinks the songs are fantastic to dance to! She is currently the Vice President of GCU Dance and is delighted to have been nominated for Youth Volunteer of the Year for the CVS Volunteer Awards 2013.


HANNAH REID  COREY PALMER SNR Hannah is 15 yrs old and has been in Project Theatre for 2 years. Last year she played the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz. She likes her role as Corey Snr this year as she gets to be with her friends and sing a Bon Jovi song!

WILLIAM GODFREY  COREY PALMER JNR William is 15 years old and is a new arrival to PT this year. He is playing Corey Jnr a lovelorn teenager ony after one thing – the heart of Tiffany! William enjoys this role as it is a challenge for him.

LOUISE BROWN  ALF BUELLER Louise has been in PT for half a year and this is her first show. She likes the role she is playing because it is quite funny. Project Theatre has helped Louise’s discipline and gives her more confidence for the shows. She hopes you enjoy the performance!

EMMA GILMOUR  KIRK KEATON Emma joined at the beginning of 2012. In Wizard of Oz she played Glinda the Good Witch. At rehearsals she enjoys working with new people and making friends. Emma likes her role as Kirk Keaton as he is fun to play as he is always messing around.

RACHEL BRYCE  TIFFANY HOUSTON Rachel is thirteen and has been a member of PT for four years. Her favourite show has been Wizard of Oz as she had the role of Dorothy. She found it challenging to learn the script but it was great fun and she looks forward to performing this year’s show.

SAMANTHA NIVEN  CYNDI GIBSON Samantha has been part of project theatre for 4 years and this is her first principal part and she is very excited about it! Project Theatre has helped her with her confidence and helped her to progress with singing, dancing and acting.

OLIVIA HUNTER  MEL EASTON Olivia is 11 years old and has been going to Project Theatre for over a year now and this is her third production. She has been in Wizard of Oz and Dreams. She loves this production because of the music and the company are awesome.


LUCY FRECK  KIM EASTON As well as a principal Lucy is a featured singer this year. Lucy has found the last 6 months of rehearsal tough but feels it was worth it as she has made good friends. It’s been a great experience for her. She hopes you enjoy the show!

LOUISE FRECK  MICHAEL FELDMAN Louise joined PT in 2012 just in time for auditions for Wizard of Oz. She played in the chorus and as the mini scarecrow. She likes her role as Michael this year as it’s a challenge playing a boy and she enjoys the dancing in it.

CAITLIN THOMSON  BILLY ARNOLD Caitlin has just turned 11 years old and has been in two Project Theatre productions. She is delighted to be playing one of the boys this year. Caitlin is a keen dancer and was awarded Member of the Month for February by our choreographer for her dancing.

CALLUM MACK  LIONEL ASTLEY Callum is 9 years old and has been in project theatre for 1 year. This is his 2nd big production. Last year he played the role King Of The Munchkins and this year he plays Lionel Astley which he likes because he gets to hang out with the “cool guys!”

POLLY GREER  HUEY JACKSON Polly is playing the only scottish character in the show. Huey is a fan of Michael Jackson and does lots of bad MJ moves. Polly has been in Project Theatre for 5 years now and she is very excited for the show. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does!

REBECCA HARDIE  FEARGAL MCFERRIN III As a founding member Rebecca has been in PT for 5 years. Last year she played the witches’ assistant Riff Raff and is playing the class geek this year. Project Theatre has helped her in life as it has given her confidence. This page is sponsored by:

EMILY HENDERSON EILEEN REGAN Emily loves creative and performing arts. One day she would like to be a professional performer. She loves to sing, dance and act and can’t wait to perform. She joined PT last year for Summer Fest and it was amazing. She hopes you enjoy the show!

LAUREN WHITE  LAURA WILDE This is Lauren’s first principal role. Lauren says she was very shy when she came to Project Theatre but it has given her more confidence to believe in herself and gain experience. Lauren has loved rehearsals and hopes you enjoy the show and wants to see you singing and dancing along!

ELISE MACGREGOR DEBBIE FOX This is Elise’s first show. She likes the part of Debbie as she is the same as herself in the way she is lively and bubbly. Project Theatre has boosted Elise’s confidence in a short time and she can’t wait to see how much more she will progress in the future.

NIKKI SCOTT MISS SHEENA BRANNIGANE Nikki is really excited to be playing Miss Brannigane. In her first year at PT she has had lots of fun and laughs and made many new friends. She likes her character as has lots of secrets and has lots going on. She says she will be returning next year and recommends Project Theatre to everyone.

FINLAY REYNOLDS MR STEVIE COCKER Finlay has been acting for over 5 years doing pantos such as Cinderella, Snow White and several more. He has also presented on a number of occasions for several events and is looking forward to a good show. He wishes everyone Good luck!

LEWIS GALLACHER  YODA Lewis Gallacher is the youngest member of the company. He joined for Dreams last summer. This time around he is playing Yoda and is really excited about having a “real” part. He is always dancing around, singing and repeating the lines of other parts and he has helped out with costumes and scenery too!
