BIO I am studying interior design at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. During my studies I have been learning how to create space for people in an ergonomic way and, in the same time, how to meet their expectations. I value minimalism – I believe that using a simple form and paying attention to detail have a potential to emphasize a character of any interior. A theater is a place for me where I can clear my mind and take a breath. It sometimes gives us extreme emotions but it also enriches our experience.

Single-family house - interior prof. Joanna Walendzik-Stefańska mgr. Piotr Sieciński A single-family house is situated on the Gower Peninsula near a rocky coast. The interior design corresponds to the building’s raw exterior design. It is dominated by different shades of gray (cool, oak parquet, concrete wall) contrasted with warm copper, and bronze leather sofas. An industrial character of the interior is emphasized by a large window and a door with glazing bars clearly outlining glass divisions. The project was created for two enthusiasts of photography.

Project of park pavillon prof. Joanna Walendzik-Stefańska mgr Piotr Sieciński
The park pavilion was inspired by a sculpture ‘Angel II’ of a British artist, Antony Gormley. The sculpture retains the main features of Gormley’s style. To a certain extent it resembles angels we recognize. The sculpture is powerful, bulky and earthly. The angel’s disproportionately long wings, set at a right angle, give the sculpture an extraordinarily horizontal form. The pavilion was located at Pola Mokotowskie near Żwirki i Wigury street in Warsaw. The form of the building relates to the shape of the disproportionately long wings of sculpture. The building was designed to serve two purposes – as an exhibition and a restaurant. The interior design corresponds to rawness of the external form.

Project of single-family house prof. Joanna Walendzik-Stefańska mgr Piotr Sieciński The project of a single-family house was designed and driven by the thought of its functionality and simplicity of the form. The house is to be located on the Gower Peninsula on the south coast of Wales. The rawness of the form shall refer to and reflect the steep slopes that are located nearby. The site is located by the sea which gives a special character to the place. The house was designed for two men, photography enthusiasts. The building includes a photographic studio and a darkroom – both are to allow the owners to develop their passion.
