In the international powered-two-wheeler (PTW) and powersports industry, Taiwan manufacturer has played a vital role for quite some time. Thanks to local assembled-PTW and parts manufacturers' advantages such as the abilities of arranging production in great flexibility and the capabilities of developing superior products in the best quality. Taiwan manufactures are also world-renowned suppliers for their comprehensive product lines.

On the other hand, Taiwanese manufacturers' ability to offer quality products at a competitive price is also their strongest suit. The ability of applying advanced technologies to innovate better products in new materials has also further
enhanced their influences to the global market, no matter products will be delivered in OE (original equipment) or aftermarket (AM) basis. In global motorcycle parts aftermarket, too. The
big amount of Taiwanese manufacturers are indispensable to major customers from industrially-advanced nations for both their world-renowned private brands and a OEM/ODM basis. Supplying best quality, most innovative and upgraded items, decorate, or enhance all types of PTWs, from small- to big-displacements. Of course, as the world's most renowned small-batch, large-variety production mode and unmatched response time of Taiwanese companies, have made them the best one-stop-shopping and service providers to global replacement-parts buyers. Back in the day, most of local replacement-parts makers focused mainly on Japanese makes and models; but now all of them have expanded their product lines into also European and U.S. makes and models based on customer’s demands.
What’s in the trade show Big-bore Times have changed since the 1980s before which few large-displacement PTWs were seen in Taiwan, due to the government’s policies to protect local PTW industry’s development from importing machines. The business of both over-250cc motorcycles and motor scooters have grown remarkably in the past two years, to have drawn most major international and local vendors into the expanding segment.
ATV & UTV In recent years, some leading PTW makers have turned their eyes onto higher-margin powersports products by leveraging their strong R&D capability in powertrain and vehicle frame; and many of them have targeted at the ATV / UTV segment. A recent example is TGB (Taiwan Golden Bee Co. Ltd.), a rapidly rising ATV/UTV brand that has launched a 1,000 ATV and UTV, the most powerful of their kinds in Taiwan. In conjunction with local players’ vigorous efforts, Taiwan is expected to continually playing a major role in supplying to North America powersports market. High-caliber Tuning With very high output of motor scooters for domestic and export sales, Taiwan is one of the top-three global suppliers of high-quality, innovative scooter performance-tuning parts.
