PROSIS Report
One of the main Prosis components is the Reporting Framework. The Reporting Framework allows the creation of custom views of the information in the system, which can be presented to final users as PDF, Excel, Application listings and Analysis Datasets. Example: Staffing table reports can be found in: Main menu > Staffing Table > Reports.
Reports available will be listed in the main pane.

Introduction
Section 1: Report Criteria Here is where filter options are provided in order to show in the report only the information of interest. Common filters are: Date fields, Organization, list of items (objects of expenditure, type of claim, Mission, etc.) and yes/no options.
Section 2: Layout and Format Data can be presented in different ways. For example, if a list of assets is to be listed in the report, the information can be sliced in the following ways: a) Location Officer (holder) Asset details… b) Class Location Asset details… c) Officer (holder) Location Asset details… In the above case, “Report layout and format” section would show the three formats and will allow users to select one of them in order to define in which way the data is going to be presented. Assets by Location Assets by Class Assets by Officer Section 3: Variant Subscriptions and/or Scheduling It is also possible to subscribe to reports. This is to say, users can receive reports in their email boxes periodically (daily, weekly and monthly). Here is an example:

Introduction
Step 1: Define report filters as per your convenience: These filters are the ones that will be applied to the report every time is sent to you, so in case of the date filters, make sure relative dates are available otherwise, check with your assigned focal point. A relative date means that, for example, if you want to receive a report of assignments expiring in the next 2 weeks, you have to set relative period starting today (0) and finishing in 15 days later (2 weeks). Refer to the image below. Step 2: Select the layout you want to be used when the report is sent to you. Step 3: Select the output format for the report: pdf, word, excel, html, xml Step 4: Subscribe to the report Select any of the options under “Send as email and fill out the form that will be displayed. Then click on New Subscription.

Production report settings and role assignment
The Prosis Reporting Framework is also integrated to the Authorization framework in order to properly grant access to reports. The access to the users can be granted either by role or by user group. This tab is available for the administrator and delegated users (see next section) in the production environment, in order to allow the administrator to grant access depending on the role or group configuration in production.

Introduction
When no role or group is set, the report will not be visible in the application by regular users, unless the report is defined to have anonymous access, which will make the report visible for any user.
For role assignment, the administrator or delegated user can select more than one mission in order to apply the permissions. By doing this, the report will be available for the role selected and users that belong to the missions chosen. If no mission is selected, the report will be available for all missions.
1.3.
Delegation of role assignment
In order to define who will have access to this report, access should be granted in “Security tab. Access can be granted by User Role and/or User Group.

Introduction
An important setting to note is “Delegation”. When delegation is checked (set to yes), users under that Role or Group, will have rights to grant access to this report in production. In other words, “delegation” allows users to do administrative tasks.
