PASTORS’ CONFERENCES

Pastors standing for prayer at Promise Keepers

“...So that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3:19

Geoff says... These two days are designed to assist you to be more effective in your role as a pastor. They will also give answers to the challenges you face. As I minister in many churches and speak with other pastors at events, I see... • Many pastors find their role is no longer enjoyable and just plain hard work • Others find that no one wants to help - they are expected to be the paid professional and do it all • Some pastors find themselves at odds with other leaders, church members and even their own family • Many do not feel appreciated • Often there is the comparison with the pastor in the church up the road who is succeeding or the great speakers that we hear about More than half our number do not continue in the ministry. This Conference will address real problems that you face. It will refresh, release and refocus you to be inspired and equipped in your God-given ministry.

Do you frequently feel overwhelmed and drained? Pastoral care often means putting others’ needs ahead of yours. You pour yourself out in ministry, but how do you recharge? Refreshed & Released is all about filling you again so that you regain your vitality, creativity and joy. It’s about bringing back that enthusiasm for your calling. There will be plenty of time to share and get ideas from others attending. The interactive environment will give you ample opportunity for discussion and fellowship. There will be times of prayer as we seek God together and also receive prayer. Geoff will give you some keys that he has learned which will encourage you and help you win the battle, and see your church grow stronger.

Pastors who attended Refreshed & Released Conferences commented… This time has been significant. Giving out, dealing with people/issues is draining. Having time to sit under good, easy to listen to, solid teaching strengthened by personal experiences has been very encouraging. The style, openness and honesty of how things were presented was excellent. Thanks for sharing the years of knowledge. Andrew Time of prophecy, prayer and encouragement absolutely amazing. I have never experienced this before. Anon The Promise Keepers Refreshed & Released Conference has been a very beneficial and impacting event for me personally. God has used it to re-vision and encourage my ministry in a powerful way. I recommend it to any minister as a catalyst tool to revitalise, refresh and refocus on the things that will enhance your personal, family and ministry life in God. Dave
