National Festival of Youth Theatre 2017 1-Day Ticket Information: Saturday 8 July Introduction Scotland’s National Festival of Youth Theatre (NFYT) is the largest annual gathering of youth theatres in the UK. Over the course of a weekend, the festival will bring Ayr alive in an explosion of young creative talent. More than 150 young people aged 14-22 from across Scotland and further afield will come together to discover, share and celebrate their passion for youth theatre arts. With an emphasis on inclusion, education and collaboration, the festival aims to remove barriers, teach valuable life skills and provide extraordinary new experiences. We so hope you can join us!

Join the festival after lunch on Saturday for the performance of Unconscious by East Lothian Youth Theatre, use your post-show free time to visit the historical town centre or Ayr’s long sandy beach, then it’s back to the Gaiety theatre for Buckle Up by Firefly Arts.
