NFYT 2010 GENERATE PROJECT ‘CONFLUX MAXIMUS’ Friday 2nd July – Sunday 4th July, NFYT 2010 The Generate programme for the last four years has played an intrinsic part to the NFYT programme. In 2006 NFYT- Perth Generate-in-8 saw a daring cast take to the main stage to perform a piece they had devised together, having only met that morning. Since then every year Generate has become more ambitious, and grown from a mere eight hours of devising to a full weekend of intensive performance creation. This is our most ambitious Generate yet. Working in isolation alongside the main festival workshop programme CONFLUX MAXIMUS will be a unique learning experience creating an outdoor, site specific performance in Riverside Park, Glenrothes.
Interested participants are encouraged to apply ASAP as places are limited. Participation is for those aged 16+. The project will be facilitated by CONFLUX and Mischief La Bas, participants will have the opportunity to work with Ian Smith (Director of Mischief La Bas), Tim Licata (Director of Plutot La Vie), Mona Kastell (freelance costume designer) and Liz Young (freelance set designer). There will be 20 places available for performers, and 4 places for those wishing to specialise in design.
