ProMusica performs Brahms’ masterful Symphony No. 4 for the first time; presented in the chamber orchestra instrumentation of when it premiered in 1885.

One of the most exciting young artists to emerge in recent years, pianist Martina Filjak takes the stage to perform Saint-Saëns’ Second Piano Concerto. Bizet’s colorful L’Arlésienne Suite No. 1 opens the program, and the orchestra’s Schubert Cycle continues as the evening concludes with his vibrant First Symphony.
