LOAVES & FISHES ANNOUNCES BOARD APPOINTMENTS Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry has announced officers and directors elected for the 2012-13 year at its recent Annual Meeting. Barry Horek, Ernst & Young, Retired Partner, and past President of the United Way of Naperville Board of directors, will serve as board chair. He will be joined by vice chair Wendy Hayum-Gross, of Mary Kay Cosmetics; secretary Bill Garlough, of My Chef Catering; and treasurer Alice Sisbarro, CPA. Four new directors were elected to three-year board terms: Tom Kallay, Nicor Gas, Director– Regional Community Relations & Economic Development/Illinois, returns to the Board after a one-year hiatus. Kallay previously served on the board from 2005-2011 and was a two-term chair. The 2010 Naperville Jaycees Civic Leader of the Year is active in numerous civic organizations, currently sitting on the boards of the Naperville Development Council and Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. He holds a B.A. from Indiana University. Tom McGough, President – Grocery Division, ConAgra Foods is serving his first term. McGough, who relocated to Naperville in 2010, previously served on the board of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. He holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Duke University – Fuqua School of Business. Chris Michalski, BMO Harris– Market President, holds a B.S. from Northern Illinois University and completed the American National Finance Association Management Development Program at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He also currently sits on the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Tom Winters, PepsiCo Vice President of Process Capability and Quality for North American Beverages, holds a B.S. from Virginia Tech and a Management Certificate from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. He previously served on the board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Cedar Rapids, IA. Michalski and Winters are both first-term board members who previously served on the Loaves & Fishes Community Advisory Council. Loaves & Fishes supplies groceries and empowerment programs to Naperville and DuPage County residents whose financial circumstances make it difficult to provide for themselves and their families.
