SeaKeepers Asia at Singapore Yachting Festival 2024
Singapore , April 2024
In the picturesque setting of ONE°15 Marina, nestled along the azure waters of Sentosa Cove, the Singapore Yachting Festival 2024 set sail once again in the 4-day event from 25th to 28th April 2024. As aficionados and enthusiasts gathered from around the globe, the event not only showcased the latest in yachting trends and technologies but also underscored a commitment to marine conservation, spotlighting the crucial work of organizations like The International SeaKeepers Society.
Berthed at D14, the 53-foot fishing trawler, Gypsea, became home to SeaKeepers Asia during the event and where fruitful discussions, information exchanges and sharing sessions, as well as potential future collaborations, were held. Visitors from diverse backgrounds, including ST Engineering, World UAV Federation Singapore, families, and volunteers, boarded Gypsea to learn about Best Practices for recreational boating; The Seabed 2030 Project as well as our citizen science initiatives. All were keen to play a part in realizing the SeaKeeper’s mission to research, educate, protect and restore our marine environment.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the Singapore Yachting Festival 2024 and The International SeaKeepers Society embody a shared vision of a sustainable maritime future. By championing innovation, conservation, and community engagement, we inspire a new generation of ocean stewards to navigate the seas with reverence and responsibility. As the sun sets on another successful festival, the legacy of yachting excellence and environmental stewardship continues to ripple across the azure expanse, leaving a lasting imprint on the waters and hearts of all who cherish them.
