So from which project did you end up buying? We looked at a few of the projects, the Farm Houses and Kervansaray Beach Homes in Karaoglanoglu attracted our attention. When Mr. Bora showed us the Kervansaray Beach Homes, he told us about the hotel construction and that he didnt know if it would be built right in front of the properties. He was so geniune and honest about the situation, we were very impressed. We decided to buy from Kervansaray Beach Homes.

How long have you been living there? How’s everything going? We’ve been living in our house for 19 months now. We have no regrets at all. Everybody comming to the house comments on the high standard of build.

What do you recommend a new buyer? How did you decide to buy a home in North Cyprus? We came to North Cyprus for a holiday and after a few days here, we decided to stay. We were actually planning to move abroad since 10 years but we didn’t find the right place until we saw North Cyprus. We used to go to Greece twice a year and we had Greece as another option in mind.

How did you decide between Greece and North Cyprus?

Doing property management now has showed us how lucky we were. We see a lot of rubbish and we feel lucky that we ended up buying from Bormat. I would advise new buyers to go for a reputable builder or agent. Speak to others that have bought from them. As you know, best advertisment is the word of mouth. Some builders dont use thermal blocks or damp course. It is better if you are here while your house is being built. In our case, every stage was professionally taken care of and that impressed us a lot.

Well, the main thing was the people. They are more genuine and friendly and although we had come here for the first time, we easily saw the difference. The second issue was the property prices and value for money. We had been to different places all over Greece but there was something missing all along, North Cyprus felt just right, therefore we agreed to move here.

Didn’t you ever consider to buy in South Cyprus? People are not as friendly there, that’s why it wasnt even an option in our head.

How did you decide to buy from Bormat? What was the difference? After we decided to buy a home here, we visited plenty of agents while on holiday and Bormat was the last one. The standard of build was way better then any others we had seen and Mr. Bora, the owner of the company was very genuine. All other agents were only
