HELLO, I’M MASSIMO CALO’ I’m 38 years old and I live in London. I was born in Palermo in 1976 and I started my artistic studies at the Istituto Statale d’Arte in Palermo, where I post graduated as a "Master of Arts in Painting” after graduating as "Set and Costume for the Theatre" at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo. During the school I began working with companies and laboratories in Palermo, Naples and Rome. After graduation I started as freelance set designer and costume designer. Beside theatre I worked also for others companies in the recreational and commercial field, gaining adaptability and collateral working skills and generally increasing my awareness of the creative process In different work environment. I’m able to meet the most demanding requirements thanks to my keen eye to details, a deep knowledge of new materials and different processing techniques. I also have experience in managing team works, leading people to delivering excellent work on tight deadlines.
