At ProSource, every trade pro has an assigned account manager who works with them to build a relationship and help them meet their clients’ needs.
I meet with the trade pro and their client to discuss the specific project needs. Then I get together with our kitchen & bath designer to come up with a design that meets those needs.
What trends do you see developing with regard to home remodeling? Here in the South, trends are slow to change. We still see mostly open floorplans with lots of wood and neutral colors.
What trends are you seeing with regard to products? There are more 4x4 and 6x6 subway tiles, which are also textured with different light colors like pinks and blues.

How do you interact with your in-house kitchen and bath designer as a cohesive team for the trade pro and the client? I’m a former kitchen and bath designer myself, so I can speak their language. I’m able to understand their needs and sketch out ideas as part of a collaborative process.
What trends do you see developing with regard to home remodeling? Out here in the desert, we see a lot of demand for white cabinetry and white kitchens, as well as natural golden oak flooring. We’re also selling more engineered hardwood and waterproof LVT for families with kids, as well as more organic white stone looks in marble and porcelain tile.
What trends are you seeing with regard to products? Waterproof, wood-look vinyl planks are a fastgrowing trend, especially with the higher quality of their graphics. Patterned carpet with color, cyclic wood and tile are all popular.
How would you describe the difference between the service you offer at ProSource Wholesale versus other home remodeling stores? Here, it’s all about building relationships. We make sure every member and client are greeted the minute they walk in the door and treated with genuine hospitality. You won’t find that in a big box store.
What’s one piece of advice you would advocate to homeowners before they begin a project? Be prepared for anything… it can be very stressful, but you’ll love the end result.
