Kruebbe BEACH DESIGN PROSOURCE OF NEW ORLEANS (LA)Shantay Kruebbe, of Queen Beach Design, understands the importance of reconfiguring a space with multiple functions. Homes can be repurposed for different uses. Some desire a forever home. Some want a home that they can rent out to others.
“I have to design for both,” she said. Designers have to think on their feet and utilize the necessary vision and resources, in order to execute a project with creativity and care. For Kruebbe, her vision was to create more of a beach feel, keeping the space light and airy. That is why she turned to ProSource ®
Preparing for a remodeling project is challenging enough, but gathering the necessary products to execute that vision requires a collaborative effort that Kruebbe found in her ProSource Wholesale ® account manager, Matt Wingard.
“I cannot say enough great things about Matt at ProSource,” she said. “He’s helped me with multiple projects and has been amazing throughout every one of those processes.”

Now that the bathroom remodel is complete, Kruebbe is able to reflect on the project and the response from the homeowners, as well as the design elements which she imbued into it.
“I’m very pleased with how the project turned out,” she said. “We’ve had great responses to it. The unique pattern of the wall and floor tile have really made the bathroom stand out, and I’m really happy with the prevalence of the diamond shape and sharp lines in the room, especially near the tub.” This would not have been possible without the teamwork and communicative efforts between Kruebbe and Wingard. Sally Fam A.I.D. INNOVATE PROSOURCE OF THE INLAND EMPIRE (CA)
Sally Fam, of A.I.D. Innovate, has a great deal of experience with redesign projects, but she finds that the first step is understanding why the client is looking for a change. From there, she is able to infuse her creativity and enhance the room’s motif.
For Fam, it also helps having clients who she has worked with previously. By understanding the basis of their needs, she is better equipped to improve a space to achieve their goals.
For this project, Fam was returning to a past client who was looking to innovate a new area in their house.
“We previously did this clients’ living and dining areas,” she said. “For this project, they were unhappy with their existing design.”
Much of that had to do with the way the room flowed. The homeowners relied on quick fixes, like a fresh coat of paint, which could not make up for the deeper design flaws in the space.
“The original design was dysfunctional,” Fam said. “The clients hated the layout and were working on quick fixes for a long time.”
With the room being such a problem for the homeowners, Fam wanted to illustrate the potential of the bedroom itself.
“I was inspired to give the client what they deserved and show them what the room could contain,” she said.
That started with a visit to ProSource Wholesale ® . at the clients’ house,” she said. “The client was so incredibly grateful.”
Dyer’s efforts illustrated a larger point to Fam about working with ProSource ®. PROSOURCE OF SEATTLE (WA)Tristan Gary, of Tristan Gary Designs, knows how to work with what she is given to create a fresh and vibrant atmosphere. Sometimes, you do not have the ability to start over; instead, you have to work within the home elements toward a vision that incorporates them in a creative way.
Gary saw an element like the see-through fireplace, which resided in the bedroom attached to the bathroom, being redesigned and created an oasis for homeowners who worked late hours while raising their son.
“Our vision was to create a sanctuary for the homeowners,” she said. “With both of them working different hours in the medical field, they really wanted to do something for themselves in the bathroom redesign, and so we wanted to give them something special.”
The homeowners’ varying working hours required a utilitarian approach to the design vision and a technologically savvy take on lighting.
“We placed a motion sensor nightlight in the bathroom niche so they could navigate the space without waking the other person up,” Gary said.
In addition to the new lighting, Gary needed products that highlighted the sanctuary she envisioned. That started with a quick call to

“I’ve worked with ProSource ® for so many years that I’m able to call Eric and say ‘Hey Eric! “We were all very pleased with the level of finish and the quality of the products we used in this project,” Gary said. “Our homeowners love the new bathroom. They love the patterned tile on their heated floor, the tile that spans throughout their shower, and wainscot around their soaking tub.”
Sometimes, keeping the layout of a space allows for a cornucopia of creativity, and Gary was able to allow those retained elements to flourish with an updated look.

I think keeping the layout of the bathroom the same allowed us to spend money on the finishes,” she said. “Using a tile to create a pattern similar to a carpet on the floor of the bedroom without creating more work for our installer also helped with the budget and timeline.

Erin Daniels DANIELS HOME COLLECTIVE PROSOURCE OF SAN DIEGO NORTH (CA)Erin Daniels, of Daniels Home Collective, knows that the design of the room needs to last; that it needs to endure and not weather against use. She values a motif that allows a family to utilize the space and flourish without worry or concern about its durability.
Forging a new design reflecting those ideals requires the necessary creativity and resources that Daniels utilized when tackling her most recent project, which involved clients with a space in need of modernization.
“I would call my clients’ house Mediterranean style,” she said. “They were looking to modernize the space.”
While changing the space to modern Mediterranean, Daniels sought out a wish list from her clients, so she could better understand what they wanted the space to accomplish.
“The clients had specific needs which they required from this space,” Daniels said. “With kids, a dog, and a pool, they needed something durable, so all of the materials for the project reflected that.”

Evans CHELSEA EVANS DESIGNS
PROSOURCE OF SAN ANTONIO (TX)Chelsea Evans, of Chelsea Evans Designs, knows how to give her clients what they want. Her design visions value their preferences, leaving the homeowner satisfied with the creative care she imbues.
“For this particular project, the client loved plants,” Evans said. “From there, I had to envision a design where plants are not only included, but utilized as a focal point.”
Even with such a clearly designated focal point, there were aspects of the bathroom that the client wished to keep, requiring accommodations to the design elements.
“They kept their main floor tile and vanity in the bathroom,” she said. “This required me to utilize what they had and make it flow with the design.”
This change required finesse, but luckily Evans had someone to turn to for help: her ProSource Wholesale ® account manager, Leigh Ann Cromer.
“Leigh Ann helped me come up with an idea of what we were looking to accomplish with the vision, making the process easier,” Evans said. “She knew the brands and products we would need and grabbed them quickly while I was in the showroom, saving us a ton of time.”
