FACILITIES
Prosper ISD is committed to providing high quality learning facilities for our students and staff while also developing a solid plan for creating equity and efficiency in regards to programs and facility use in a time of rapid growth. During times of rapid growth, one of the first areas to be impacted is the physical facilities. Facilities are a focal point that must be assessed on an ongoing basis.
INNOVATIVE LEARNING
Personal growth happens most when we are uncomfortable and struggle in our endeavors. Prosper ISD is committed to providing an educational environment that fosters growth in students and teachers alike - through risk-taking, productive struggle, feedback, observation, collaboration and communication.
Establishing a growthmindset culture allows for the development of realistic expectations of success in the world at large - ultimately resulting in increased, authentic, transferable student and teacher learning.
SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL HEALTH
Human connection is a key component to positive emotional health and personal growth. Prosper ISD is committed to the belief that a sense of belonging to a greater community improves an individual’s motivation, health, and happiness. The district is committed to ensuring positive social emotional health for the whole child, believing that social emotional learning is a valuable investment in our students’ futures. Ultimately, this will help to meet the goal that all Prosper ISD students graduate as contributing members of society in whatever capacity they choose.
Prosper ISD Prosper ISD
HUMAN RESOURCES
Quality instruction directly correlates to the quality of educational professionals. To this end, Prosper ISD is committed to recruiting and hiring the best educators available. The district, and the Prosper ISD community as a whole, supports our teachers and staff through embedded professional learning, competitive salaries, and careeradvancement opportunities.
FUNDING & FINANCE COMMUNICATIONS
& COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Prosper ISD is committed to transparent communication that provides opportunities for businesses, parents, and community members to become active participants in the school environment. Communication is key to creating understanding both inside the school and outside in the community. When stakeholders know what is going on in the district and on the campuses, they can better partner with the district to support students and staff.
The security of a district’s long-term ability to provide a quality education is rooted in the stability of its funding and finances. By ensuring that our staff and community members have a clear understanding of funding and finance in relation to public education, we will be able to continue to provide a high quality education for all students while holding on to the traditions and pride that are Prosper ISD. By educating the community about school funding and encouraging voter participation, we will create a better future by ensuring the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of our current and future students.
Strategic Plan Strategic Plan
Welcome
Prosper Family,
The 2021-2022 school year proved to be another year in which Prosper ISD’s consistent pursuit of educational excellence and student opportunities provided our students with the ability to learn, grow, thrive, and succeed. We graduated a record 1,218 students from Prosper ISD this year. Each one of these graduates is a testament to the hard work, sacrifice, and pursuit of excellence that every district employee and the Prosper ISD School Board invests in our students.
Prosper has a culture of community that has been developed through the years, even as the district has grown from fewer than 5,000 students 10 years ago to more than 22,652 students at the end of 2022. The district continues to be one of the fastest growing districts in the state and nation, opening new campuses every year. Through our Prosper Promise initiative, the culture of community involvement grew this year with more than 3,000 new parent and community engagements - made available through the program’s advisory councils, informational meetings, and community events.
Our Prosper ISD School Board and the Prosper Education Foundation continue to provide the district with the support, facilities, opportunities, and resources - creating unique opportunities found at few other districts. These opportunities and resources allow for learning experiences that benefit our students for a lifetime.
As we review the 2021-2022 school year, we continue to look for ways to exceed expectations, connect with our community, and strive towards our vision of excellence.
Sincerely,
Dr. Holly Ferguson Superintendent of SchoolsOUR VISION
Grounded by Tradition, Soaring to New Beginnings.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Prosper ISD is to develop and graduate motivated, academically prepared individuals with the strength of character to make contributions to a rapidly changing society through an educational system that maintains high expectations, provides quality instruction and establishes a safe, orderly learning environment in the community that lives its name.

Promise
“I have learned NUMEROUS things which have given me insight, educated me, inspired me, challenged me and encouraged me to keep going to help make our district the best it can be!!!!!” explained Prosper ISD parent Laura Caufield about participating in a Prosper Promise Advisory Council.
ECreated in 2021 by Prosper ISD Superintendent Dr. Holly Ferguson and the Prosper ISD School Board, the Prosper Promise is an endeavor to deepen the long-standing partnerships between the school and the community and provide numerous connection opportunities throughout the year for our parents and community to engage with other parents, get involved in our schools, and learn more about the district.
Some opportunities include serving on advisory councils while others are informational meetings. Additionally, the Prosper Promise website will keep the community abreast of upcoming community events hosted by the district.
Prosper University Committee member Debbie Jarzombek applied to the committee “in order to ascertain avenues for serving my community.” While serving on the committee, she has “enjoyed hearing from our school board members. Their role is pivotal in the district’s continued success and I value the opportunity to hear their perspectives. I have also enjoyed hearing from the PISD leaders. The concept that PISD leaders are servant leaders is quite evident. Every single individual I have encountered from PISD throughout this course has been so very gracious, helpful, and professional! There is no doubt that the PISD leadership team is visionary and well equipped to lead our fast-growth district.”
