Volunteers
Our volunteers are our greatest asset and we would not be able to do what we do without their help.
Our Centre has over eighty caring volunteers who help to ensure our programs and services run efficiently. These incredible individuals arrive early, leave late, and make every minute they are at our Centre count. Our volunteer program started twenty years ago with a few patients who wanted to share their experiences with prostate cancer and help newly diagnosed men. Today, the program has grown to include many volunteers who have a desire to share their time and talent with Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre. The many duties they perform are diverse but focus on patient needs and support programs. It is impossible to put into words how much we value the time, expertise, and energy each of these individuals puts into the PCC.

In 2019, a total OF 5500 VOLUNTEER hours were worked.
