COFFEE CONCEPT
East Greenwich’s newest co ee shop is a spacious spot to hang out and recharge
A joint venture between husband-and-wife Steven and Allie Mignanelli with Sarah Grillo, East Greenwich recently welcomed its newest co ee spot in February: Drip Co ee House.
“We have a long history in this industry and shared the same vision of a co ee house concept,” shares Steven, whose family owns two other East Greenwich staples: Richard’s Pub and the Ritrovo Pub. “When the space became available, this was our chance to bring the concept to life.”
Now fully realized in a spacious 2,600-square-foot cafe, Drip Co ee boasts an open, inviting atmosphere designed by Michelle Parenteau of Michelle Lee Designs based in Johnston. Steven set out to create a co ee space unlike any other in the coastal town with plenty of seating and a little bit of swank (think leather armchairs) – and not without Ocean State motifs captured in deep blue walls and bar seats, even a blue-painted brick fireplace for added coziness.
Whether you’re picking up a cuppa to go or sitting down to enjoy the ambiance, you’ll find only locally roasted co ee at Drip Co ee House, along with plenty of fresh baked goods, including bagels, mu ns, donuts, cookies, breakfast sandwiches, assorted sweets, and more. 2725 South County Trail, East Greenwich | By Abbie Lahmers
