Il Matto is the only place where you can taste IL Pizzolo “Sicilian name PIZZOLU” is a typical dish of authentic Sicilian cuisine. This dish was born in Solarino, a small Province of Siracusa where the pizza chef owner was one of the inventors of the recipe in 1998.

IL Pizzolo consists of pizza dough baked fresh, seasoned with oil, oregano and aged parmesan, then slit and filled with a selection of meats, cheeses and vegetables, cooked in a wood fire oven.
