Josh grew up in Omaha, Nebraska but has deep Philadelphia roots. His grandfather, Jackie Brandt, played for the Philadelphia Phillies, and Josh played baseball on scholarship for the Drexel University Dragons. After graduating college, he worked in hospitality in Old City before moving to California to be a part of the start-up of Easy Street Capital’s predecessor company. Then love called him back to Philly.

“I rekindled my relationship with my college sweetheart, Meredith, and moved back here in 2019,” Josh smiles. “Now we have an adorable six-month-old baby girl, Neba. So I’m focused on growing East Street Capital into the premier lender of choice in the Northeast and finding time to sleep! But, I’m still a massive fan of all Philly sports and enjoy playing beer league softball, where my team has been back-to-back champs.”

Teamwork fuels Josh’s drive in both sports and business. Today, Josh’s #1 teammate is his Senior Account Executive, Michael Pitts. “We launched the area collectively last January,” Josh says. “Michael is a licensed REALTOR® and an invaluable Easy Street Capital team member. He has ten years of professional real estate and finance experience and is always available to field questions and help people. Both of us believe success is repeat clients.
