The experience went well and the REALTOR® inspired Vasyl to enroll in real estate school in 2011. Later that year, Vasyl opened his own property preservation company. Within two years his company was ranked #1 of 800 companies nationwide.

Covid lockdowns and foreclosure regulations created a dramatic change in the industry in 2020. Vasyl was no longer able to physically inspect properties or provide the personalized services that had made his company stand out with excellence. He thought about his property preservation experiences over the past decade and the skills he had learned while inspecting and maintaining over a thousand homes. He had grown to appreciate the region in which he served, and had envisioned himself continuing to serve the community’s real estate needs for years to come.

“One of my goals for my clients is that they will have no regrets and never feel that they made a mistake while they were in my care,” Vasyl explained. “And to accomplish this, I have to truly get to know everything about my clients so I can think like them.”

One of the practices that he has incorporated since the beginning is to ask each client to write down 10 things that would make a property seem perfect for them. She was mildly disappointed when Vasyl pointed out that although there were wonderful things about the house and the property, the good things combined added up to less than half of what she had said would make the investment

I do not want to make a sale if a client will be less happy about it than I will be. I know that I will become a real estate attorney someday so that I can provide even service to my clients.”
