PRRD beginning engagement on master plan for North Peace Regional Park
The North Peace Regional Park (also known as the North Peace Fall Fair Grounds), a beloved community asset located at 15177 Rose Prairie Road, has been a vital gathering space for the community for several decades.
The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is proud to steward this important public space, which is owned by the Regional District and operated through an agreement by the North Peace Fall Fair Society. The North Peace Regional Park (NPRP) has been home to the North Peace Fall Fair and countless cherished memories for over 75 years. The passion and dedication of the volunteers from the North Peace Fall Fair Society has made the North Peace Fall Fair what it is today.
As the PRRD embarks on this exciting journey of developing a master plan for the NPRP, we look forward to continuing this legacy of community involvement and collaboration.
Together, we can shape a future for the park that honors its rich history and meets the evolving needs of communities in the region.

This plan will guide future investment and development decisions at the park, ensuring it continues to serve and reflect the needs of communities in the region for generations to come. We believe in the power of community input and are committed to a planning process that is transparent, inclusive and engaging.
The PRRD wants to hear from residents! Your ideas and feedback are crucial in shaping the future of the NPRP. There are several ways to join the conversation: complete an online survey, attend in-person or virtual community input workshops, or submit written feedback via email.
*Paper copies of the survey are available at the Peace River Regional District office reception in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John.
Let’s work together to create a park that reflects the needs and aspirations of our communities and region. Scan the QR code on the left to join the conversation!
