Overcoming the Hype - Ushering AAM into an Operational Reality
Tues 26th Sept 11.45AM
KEYNOTE THEATRE 1
From the very beginning of aviation, successful operations require a pragmatic stepby-step process, especially when new technology is introduced. Advanced Air Mobility is truly a revolutionary new technology. Bristow will outline how we plan to introduce this revolutionary technology and intersect it with our 7 plus years of evolutionary safety management and operational experience. Additionally we will discuss how we must set the scene for the public’s expectations and acceptance.
David Stepanek became Bristow’s Executive Vice President, Sales and Chief Transformation Officer in March 2021. In this role, David is responsible for all sales, marketing, and commercial functions of the business. In addition to activities in Bristow’s existing end markets, his focus will include the transformation of Bristow’s business mix through strategic diversification into new markets.
Sharing Skies - Enabling Safe & Secure Drone Operations
The challenge is how to speed up the development of and then implement the key technologies, procedures, and processes the industry will need to usher in a new generation of exciting drone services. All at a scale that makes economic sense. And all in a way that’s safe, secure and, of course, mitigates the potential for maliciously operated drones to negatively impact society.
Dave is Head of Business Development and Sales for Thales Flight Avionics in the UK. As well as being responsible for leading a high-performance team, he also manages major campaigns across the UK and US, including Connectivity, Global Air Combat Programme (GCAP) and USAF programmes. Dave represents Thales on the Board of Directors for the Aerial Refuelling Steering Group (ARSAG), an elite community for Air Force Tankers.
