The littering of packaging is causing serious damage to the environment, eating and drinking on the go can make packaging difficult to collect, while food contamination can create difficulties for recycling. The Responsible Packaging Expo is working towards encouraging businesses to consider these issues and assess potential solutions either reduce single use packagng and / or to encourage more to be collected and reprocessed.

As sustainability and packaging has become such an integral part of a multitude of industries, the discussions surrounding misleading and vague claims has also been on the rise.
