November 30, 2015 I HAVE BEEN POSTING REPEATEDLY ON VERY NEAR FUTURE GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE EVENTS OF “BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS”. THESE CLIMATE CHANGE EVENTS, ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA, WILL
START TO CRIPPLE AMERICAN CITIES I HAVE BEEN POSTING ON THIS SINCE SINCE WAY BACK IN 2011. IT’S COMPLETELY FUCKING DIFFERENT WHEN YOU LIVE THRU ONE. SPOKANE MADE NATIONAL NEWS AGAIN. HOWEVER, THIS TIME IT WAS FOR FAR MORE DIRE REASONS THAN A RACIAL IDENTITY CONUNDRUM. WINDS THAT REACHED 70 MILES AN HOUR HIT SPOKANE, KNOCKING OUT POWER TO HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF SPOKANE RESIDENTS. I’LL NOT RETYPE THAT NUMBER. A STATE WIDE DISASTER WAS DECLARED.IT’S 20 FUCKING DEGRESS NOW AS I TYPE THIS, HAVING BEEN
WITHOUT ELECTRICITY IN TWO OF THE ROOMS IN MY APARTMENT SINCE WEDNESDAY. I’LL NOT TYPE THAT, EITHER. ITS 20 MOTHERFUCKING DEGREES AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE, IT FUCKING SNOWED. Fuck this. And the first thing that occurred to me was:” and we had
the technology to beam electricity to homes a hundred motherfucking years ago!!!!!!!” There has come a point in the western economic engine that the sleek design of technology, for solely profit driven purposes, has resulted in the stark realities of human repercussions. Human repercussions in the forms of humans losing jobs to technology (which essentially means the loss of quality of life for Americans). We are dealing with conditions of economic greed worldwide resulting in CREATING horrific consequences for future weather patterns in America and around the world. I have posted REPEATEDLY that social safety nets have to be put on steroids now in America because of events just EXACTLY like what went down here in Spokane since last week. Which brings to point the tug of war between continued human existence with comfort, dignity, and the will to live on each day versus keeping people, ESPECIALLY AMERICANS, as just “Matrix “ style little generators of
lessening consumer power. The trillions of dollars paid by Americans each year at tax time warrants some return: the guarantee to every American a dignified and
comfortable life in America.
(Hearts and prayers go out to Spokanites during these frigid days and nights who are homeless. This weather and homelessness ain’t no fucking joke up here.) who I love dearly as a character of humor and a study in historical figures ( he was one of the very first “Hollywood Producers” and harshest victims of “McCarthyism” in Hollywood back in the day) was quoted many times in interviews that he had the damdest time in his life with
never having enough food or clothes. That shit has stayed with me for over twenty years now since the release of the Robert Downey Jr. movie on Chaplins life. Here was a man who had hundreds of things to complain about in his life (mother suffered horribly with severe mental illness and his and his brother’s extreme poverty) , not to mention his trials with his hugely successful Hollywood career and Hollywood black balling him, resulting in his exile to Europe and banishment from the U.S., a country he had grown to love dearly. And yet the two things that stuck a knife to his spirit more than anything else was never having enough food or clothes.
THINK ABOUT THAT SHIT. In the coming years, a whole different chain of events will happen in the world that will simply and physically change the way the present economic system works in the western world. Charging for things that are ESSENTIAL to the everyday life of a
human being is now, in 2015, morally, ethically, and just fucking crazy ass wrong. This past week in Spokane has really brought home the sheer insanity of charging people for electricity, and other utilities. Not only is it wrong to do this in America in 2015, but charging for utilities is simply not the logical way of utilizing energy sources efficiently and far more easily. As I typed in the beginning of this editorial, the technology to transmit (without wires) electricity to homes is over a hundred years old. As global change worsens, the entire electric grid of the United States will not only be in danger, but will be permanently disabled at times when having no power can be deadly. Like the last week here in Spokane with citizens with no elelctricity for heat or to keep their foods fresh. Utilities, clothes, food, a place to live; these are the things that allow us to live above the status of animals. But to charge Americans for the right just to be human beings will be seen in as littles as twenty years from now as barbaric as removing a person’s brain bit by bit was considered ( and shockingly still is, ) “ psychiatric treatment�. Americans are the future of America. The people of America, nurtured like flowers, fruits, and natural elements of sustaining life, will grow a society ripe with future, innovation, and most importantly, it will regain the greatness that the United States of America once had. If America can remember again, in 2015, who and what it once was. And what it can be again. God Bless this great land and peoples.
