Falling gently like soldiers From a plane Falling quickly all arranged On the street called Division on a weekend morning Each snowflake falling in place One flake at a time Picking each space
One drop then sticks Like mosquitoes on a window pane But far more beautiful Every flake Falling in place Forming a sea Of snow and ice On a street In Spokane
