The history of Fhiaba reads like a story where the years of experience and wisdom of a generation are passed down to the next and culminate in a luxurious creation. In the early 1970's Antonio Baron established Friulinox, a manufacturer of ultra premium professional refrigeration and a complementary line of cooling products for institutional use in laboratories as well as commercial refrigeration for the European luxury restaurant market.
Over 50 years later Antonio’s son, Massimo Baron, discovers a passion to nurture the legacy his father created and dreams of creating a new series of products. With this new vision in mind, the Baron family turns its attention to luxury residential refrigeration, utilizing all of the attributes they had become famous for and with it, Fhiaba is born
1972
• Antonio Baron establishes Friulinox, a manufacturer of premium commercial refrigeration for institutional and laboratory applications.
• Friulinox quickly becomes recognized across Europe for their refrigeration technology and quality. Although positioned as the most expensive product in their category, sales volume continue to grow within the industry.
1986
• Responding to demands from their commercial clients to build ultra premium cooking products, Friulinox establishes Baron Cucine Professionali, a manufacturer of premium commercial cooking products.
2001
• Friulinox growth reaches 30,000 refrigeration units and Baron Cucine Professionali reaches 10,000 units of ultra premium commercial cooking per year.
2002
• Friulinox and Baron Cucine Professionali are sold to Hackman Group. With the proceeds of the sale, the Baron Family establishes Flextec, a manufacturer of custom stainless steel enclosures primarily for the food processing industry.
2003 / 2004
Baron Industries, the parent company of Fhiaba is established. Antonio and son Massimo Baron recruit the design and brain trust from Fruilinox to build an ultra premium residential refrigerator.
• The Baron’s want the design of the Fhiaba product to embody everything that is Italian design, and with that Giugiaro Design Studio is appointed with the task of designing for the Fhiaba brand. Giugiaro Design Studio has designed products for Audi, Bugatti, Ferrari and many other ultra premium brands.
2004
• The Fhiaba Applied Luxury European residential refrigeration project begins. Its goal is to manufacture the world's first true luxury refrigerator.
2011
• Fhiaba conducts its first official pre launch in Canada where major US distributors take notice.
2013
• Arrival to the US Architectural Digest Show in Manhattan is the first official showing of the Fhiaba Applied Luxury product line to the American design community and public, receiving rave reviews.
2014
• Fhiaba is present at KBIS 2014 and shows prototypes of their new Integrated column models.

The stainless steel interiors are mechanically bead blasted to prevent the spread of bacteria. The absence of corners and crevices makes cleaning the refrigerator fast and easy.

Sliding Shelves on Fhiaba’s Patented EvenLift™ System can be adjusted to any height in the refrigerator compartment without removal. The shelves of the refrigerator are quickly modified with ease and speed.
By activating the SuperIce™ function you can temporarily increase ice production, from the standard 2.2 lbs of ice cubes to 3.3 lbs per day. It makes the desired size and quantity of ice cubes using water purified through the integrated filtering system.

For two years from the original date of purchase, the Fhiaba product warranty covers all parts and labor to repair or replace, under normal residential use, any part of the product proving to be defective in material or workmanship.
FULL FIVE YEAR SEALED SYSTEM PRODUCT WARRANTY - PARTS AND LABOR2
For the first five years from the original date of purchase, the Fhiaba product warranty will cover all parts and labor to repair or replace, under normal residential use, the compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier and all connecting tubing that prove to b e defective in material or workmanship.
LIMITED TWELVE YEAR SEALED SYSTEM PRODUCT WARRANTY - PARTS ONLY2
For the first twelve years from the original date of purchase, the Fhiaba product warranty covers all parts that prove to be defective in material or workmanship in the sealed system (parts only). The sealed system consists of the compressor, condenser, evaporato r, drier and all connecting tubing.
TERMS APPLICABLE TO EACH WARRANTY
This warranty is valid in only the 50 continental states of the U.S.A. and the country of Canada. This warranty applies to t he original purchaser only and is non -transferable. All service provided by Fhiaba on the stated warranty must be performed by a Fhiaba authorized servicer, unless otherwise specified by Fhiaba. This service will be provided during the regular business hours of each specific region.
This warranty applies only to products purchased from an authorized dealer through an approved distribution chain and is installed for normal residential use and does not apply to commercial use or use on yachts. This warranty only covers service performed at the location of product installation and will not cover costs associated with repairing off -site unless expressly authorized by Fhiaba nor does it cover the travel costs associated with providing service to remote locations. Remote locations are defined as being outside of a 50 mile (80 kilometre) radius from any authorized dealer. This warranty does not cover any parts or labor to correct any defect caused by negligence, transport, delivery, installation, accident or imprope r use, maintenance, improper voltage , service or repair, including but not limited to improper removal and reinstallation of the condensing unit prior to or during product delivery / installation. The remedies described herein for each warranty are the only ones which Fhiaba will provide, either under these wa rranties or under any warranty arising by operation of law. Fhiaba will not be responsible for product loss due to spoilage nor for consequenti al damages to surrounding cabinetry, construction materials or finishing materials such as but not limited to flo oring. Fhiaba will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the breach of these warranties or any other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory.
The warranty will be valid and effective only upon presentation of the document stating the purchase date of the appliance, and more specifically of the relevant invoice, proof of purchase, or equivalent document showing the name of the seller, the delivery date and the identification data of the appliance. (Such as; M odel number, Serial Number). In the case of new product being included in the purchase of new residential construction; this warranty applies to the original resident of the location containing the Fhiab a product and warranty coverage will begin on the date of occupancy of the residence (proof of occupancy required) to a maximum additional six months from the date of purchase of the product by the development company from the distributor or dealer. This extensio n does not apply to footnote 1 below.
This warranty is only valid where the difference between the purchase date and the production date of the product is less than one year. Any product which has been warehoused for more than this one year period will only be covered by Fhiaba’s B -Stock warranty. During the warranty period Fhiaba reserves the right to evaluate the opportunity to repair the appliance or, at their discreti on, offer to replace it with a Fhiaba product of equivalent features and functionality. During years 3 through 12, replacements wi ll be offered at a discounted retail cost dependent on the age and original purchase price of the product being replaced. Fhiaba reserves the r ight to revise this warranty at any time.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Deliveries: Pinnacle Express, Inc. shall not be liable for failure to deliver or for delays in delivery or performance due to: (1) causes beyond its reasonable control; (2) acts of God, acts of Buyer, acts of civil or military authority, governmental allocations or controls, fires, strikes or other labor difficulties, riots or other civil disturbances, delays in its usual source of supply, delays in transportation; (3) any other commercial impracticability. In the event of such delay, the date of delivery or performance shall be extended for a period equal to the time lost by reason of the delay.
Claims: All claims for non-conforming delivery of Products must be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of shipment.
Damage or Loss: Any claim for damage or loss in shipment should be made to the carrier immediately by the customer. Products become the responsibility of the Buyer when accepted by the carrier in good condition from Pinnacle Express, Inc. and we are not able to process shipping damage claims.
Returns: Only Items marked in this Price List as “Stock Item” are subject to return. All other items are considered Special Order Items and are NOT RETURNABLE. No Products may be returned without a Pinnacle Express, Inc. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number issued prior to the return of Product. Any product returned without an RGA will be refused and returned to the sender. RGA’s are valid for thirty (30) days only. All returns are subject to inspection before being approved for credit – products must be in salable condition to be considered for return or replacement. A 20% restocking charge will apply to all returns.
Payment: Unless otherwise noted, payment terms are Net Due on Receipt. Balances owed on invoices over 30 days old are subject to a 1.5% per month charge. Payments are made by credit card are subject to a 2% processing fee. Each shipment or delivery shall be deemed to have been sold under a separate and or independent contract and payment thereof shall be made in accordance with the terms of this agreement and of the invoice rendered by Pinnacle Express, Inc. Warranties: Products distributed by Pinnacle Express, Inc. are the products of reputable manufacturers sold under their respective brand or trade names. Pinnacle Express, Inc. shall use its best efforts to obtain from each manufacturer, in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty or customary practice, the repair or replacement of products that may prove defective in material or workmanship. The foregoing shall constitute the exclusive remedy of the Buyer and the sole obligation of Pinnacle Express, Inc. Except as to Title, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EITHER WRITTEN, ORAL, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY relating to the described products which shall extend beyond that described in this paragraph. NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR PURPOSE SHALL APPLY.
Limitation of Liability: Pinnacle Express, Inc.’s liability on any claims for loss or damage arising out of this contract or from the performance or breach thereof or connected with the supplying of products hereunder, or its sale, resale, operation or use, whether based on warranty, contract, negligence or other grounds shall not exceed the price allowable for such products or parts thereof involved in the claim. Pinnacle Express, Inc. shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any labor charges unless agreed upon in advance and in writing by Pinnacle Express, Inc. and the manufacturer of the products involved.
Pinnacle Express, Inc. shall not in any event be liable for special or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits or revenue, loss of use of the product or any associated product, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, facilities or services, downtime costs, or claims of customers of the Buyer for such damages.
General: The possession of this Price List by anyone is not to be considered as an offer to sell any of the Products contained herein. This Price List supercedes all previous price lists or memorandums. Pinnacle Express, Inc.’s existing Trade Terms and Conditions remain in effect. The above Terms and Conditions shall be a part of all Orders accepted by Pinnacle Express, Inc. and shall supercede any conflicting provisions of our customer’s purchase orders. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
