Welcome to Commercial GREENFLEET 2021 GF365 previously brought you Commercial GREENFLEET during bleaker times. All of us were attempting to adjust to the ‘new normal’ that the Covid-19 pandemic had forced upon us. The muchneeded life-saving coronavirus vaccinations were still in development and the threat of schools and society, as a whole, continuing to close and stay that way seemed all too real. Now, just a few months on and life begins to look brighter. The start of this week heralded Phase 2 of the UK’s tentative steps towards social freedom; thousands of us flocked to hairdressers and shops, and some 40m total coronavirus vaccine doses have been administered. Despite the difficult times and significant lifechanges we have all undoubtedly experienced during the last year or so, we have tried our hardest to stay with you. GREENFLEET events moved exclusively ONLINE to become GF365, maintaining its position as THE platform for the fleet community to share the business case for cleaner transport operations.
Enjoy a short keynote presentation from Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, industry insight from Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders, Plug-in Hybrid and Battery Electric updates from Zemo Partnership and case studies from Mitie and logistics giant UPS. Throw the co-chair of the Gas Vehicle Network Committee into the mix, charging & infrastructure and their own fleet strategy from National Grid and invaluable new-to-market information from the likes of Toyota, ubitricity, LeasePlan, DriveTech and Connected Kerb and you will see that we have all bases covered. Our hugely knowledgeable host, Andy Eastlake from Zemo Partnership, will guide you through this morning’s event and you can even chat to him and all guests LIVE via the Chat and Q&A tabs. All we ask is do your bit by posting on your socials throughout the event, tagging @GreenFleetNews and using the #CommercialGF hashtag. We hope you have an enjoyable morning with us.
Colin Boyton, Events manager GF365 & GREENFLEET Events
Today, this event is specifically for our Commercial Fleet audience. Those of you who – like us – have never lost the passion and drive needed to make significant changes to the way van and truck fleets operate. So, as we always say, grab a cuppa, sit back and let us do the work for YOU.

Ubitricity Ubitricity: helping councils create convenient, low cost, reliable EV public charging networks. There are 5 big benefits of driving electric: zero emission travel; torque-on-tap acceleration; ultra-low maintenance; low fuel costs; charge-while-you-sleep fuelling. But EV drivers without driveways battle to enjoy the last two: cheap and convenient fuelling. ubitricity is changing that. We’re helping councils place EV charge points right outside the homes of EV drivers who lack driveways. With our charge points inside the lampposts on their street, EV drivers can park up close to home and charge
overnight. And they’ll pay much less than the typical price of rapid chargers. Backed by strong established brands like Siemens, Honda and EDF, we deliver a smart, flexible, low carbon energy system by providing turnkey EV charging systems. Anyone, from local residents to working vans, can use our smart EV charging system when they’re parked for a while. That helps charge point hosts, such as local authorities, businesses and fleet depots, to lead by example on our road to net zero. No wonder 24 councils have installed nearly 2,000 of our charge points for their residents and visitors! We believe we can provide electricity for everyone everywhere. So let’s talk about your sustainable transport plans. ubitricity.co.uk
