WELCOME Welcome to GREENFLEET East GREENFLEET East has been reformatted to fit the ‘new normal’ we now find ourselves living. It still takes the ROAD-2-ZERO Roadshow to the East of England but with no need for social-distancing… No need for facemasks, gloves or sanitiser... And best of all, you can enjoy it entirely from the safety and comfort of your ‘home office’ or even workplace. So why are we heading East? It is a region that appears to have been somewhat over-looked when it comes to air quality and electrification and if you are the Fleet or Transport Manager, we are sure that you agree. This is why today we bring you all the latest in policy and incentives from longstanding GREENFLEET partners, the government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles and Crown Commercial Service and when it comes to vehicles, the manufacturers and motoring body, Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders will tell you all you need to know. If your role is Estates and Facilities, then we have the charging and infrastructure solutions you need, courtesy of a National Grid expert and if you find yourself without a CSR policy, or environmental strategy in place, then GREENFLEET East is here to help with all the information an environmental or sustainability professional requires. On top of that, GREENFLEET East drills into the region’s EV / ULEV requirements with local case studies and valuable input from the car manufacturers driving change in the sector. Not

only that, gain fascinating insight into ‘port electrification’ from the Head of Environment at Associated British Ports, which has invested more than £120,000 in a new fleet of electric vans to be deployed at its East Anglian Ports of Lowestoft, Ipswich and King’s Lynn. And to ensure you are in safe hands throughout the entire morning, our GREENFLEET Ambassador and host, Kate Armitage, will expertly guide you on your way to getting the most for your business from this interactive event. Quite simply, GREENFLEET East is where Transport, Energy and Digital come together, with you at its core. Tweet and share your thoughts and comments throughout the event on LinkedIn and when posting, please tag GREENFLEET UK and GREENFLEET Events on LinkedIn and @GreenFleetNews on Twitter and use the #Hashtags #GFEast #eMobility #CleanerFleets. Campbells Consultancy Ltd We are one of the world’s leading consultancy groups to focus solely on the commercial vehicle industry and the transition from diesel to battery electric or hydrogen fuel cell. Focusing on one sector helps save our clients time and money as we “hit the deck running” unlike other generalist firms, including many car-based consultancies who fail to understand the differences. Campbells expertise was recognised by the National Grid (Ventures), as they
were appointed Senior CV Consultants to the company helping to develop an understanding of how the UK Commercial Vehicle industry could transition from diesel to electric over the next 15 years. Campbells offers independent advice helping the operator make sense of the ever-changing world of EV’s. Using our “CLIMOR” evaluation tool we help fleets get to grips with electrification and highlight the potential benefits it can bring to their business whilst also acknowledging the huge potential challenges and implications.
