What does the Psi Upsilon Foundation Do? The Foundation is our 501c3 educational non-profit which supports the Fraternity’s Highest Moral, Intellectual, and Social Excellence values through a range of programs and grants. SCHOLARSHIPS The Undergraduate Scholarship Program now in its 62nd year of awarding merit and need based scholarships to active undergraduates in any chapter or owl club. Equal to the financial purse to offset costs of their education is the honor bestowed on these young men and women who serve as exemplary members within our chapters and communities. SOCI AL IMPACT FELLOWSHIP The Social Impact Fellowship Program provides professional development for emerging leaders who show dedication and promise - either professionally or as a volunteer - to a cause for the common good. The tailored program for each of these distinguished young professionals advances their career through coaching and a stipend for skills development. •Skills Development Stipend - Identify and engage with a professional development opportunity using the stipend money budgeted. Fellows can use this money for a conference, class, coach, or other resource for individual development as a professional. •Round Table Discussions - To bond the cohort together and learn from each other, we will convene virtual round-table discussions during the year. The topics will be tailored to, and format designed for, the interests of the group and industry leaders invited as guests to moderate the discussion. •Executive Coaching - Fellows have the opportunity to work individually and in a group setting over a 4 month period with renowned leadership coach Lance Miller, Epsilon Nu ’80. •Chapter Discussion - Fellows will speak to their chapter undergraduate brothers (and interested alumni) sharing their journey and career trajectory. This offer a chance to encourage service and cause with younger brothers.

DEEP DIVE DISCUSSIONS The Gilrane Economic Symposium and FishFund Venture Summit are special annual panel discussions with Charleston rules of candid perspectives within the Speaker’s Series to unite industry leaders in person and be simulcast for brothers beyond. The Symposium, named in honor of long-serving Foundation board member Patrick Gilrane, Psi ’83, is underwritten by a fund established in his honor. The FishFund Venture Summit is an exciting new opportunity pioneered by Joeseph Cillo, Delta ‘61, in 2021 for Psi U brothers to learn and engage in entrepreneur ventures.

LEADERSHIP EDUCATION Leadershiip Institute and Archon’s Academy Undergraduate and Alumni leaders build skills to lead their chapters through a suite of tools such as Archons Academy, Leadership Institute and our professional Chapter Services staff who counsel our brothers each day. We hope and plan that in 2022 our Archons’ Academy will be in person and give our chapter leadership the ability to interact with one another integrating what we learned this year about the benefits of meeting with so many officers. We will continue to host virtual opportunities to compliment in person experiences going forward. We are also extremely proud and thankful to all our brothers who participated in the 27th Archons’ Academy during January – our undergraduate leaders were thoughtful, engaging, and sincere with their care for Psi U.
HISTORY & ARCHIVES The History & Archives Committee collected research and published a journal of new historical information about brothers of Psi Upsilon. The committee also traveled to Indianapolis in June to work on the archives and craft policies around its maintenance. For those unfamiliar with the archives, they currently occupy several rooms at the International office and contain material dating back to the founding of Psi Upsilon. The archives have grown over time through both strategic acquisitions and alumni donations. This committee is tasked with preserving our physical archives, but also with considering and creating new ways to share them with our brothers. Digital Archives and enhanced multimedia presence like digital publication hosted on our upgraded Issuu account and embedded in Psi U.org, video editing, and YouTube Channel makes Psi U content from the generations available to our brotherhood through a FREE digital platform.

PLANNED GIVING The Schoepflin Society is a recognition circle for those who have named Psi Upsilon as a beneficiary in their will, estate plan or other planned gift. The Society is named for Paul H. Schoepflin, Pi 1912 (Syracuse), whose bequest made him one Psi Upsilon’s largest benefactors. Members of the society receive a variety of honors throughout the year with special invitations, communications and distinctions at events they attend. The Schoepflin Society sponsors an annual installment of the Speaker Series sharing best practices for Estate Planning & Planned Giving with speakers. This year Charles M. Hall ESQ, Nu Alpha ‘71 (Washington & Lee University), Gamma Tau ’91 (h.) and Jay Mather, Tau ‘00 (the University of Pennsylvania) shared their insight. Members of the Society also enjoyed recieving a book discussion with a Psi Upsilon author.
