Psi Upsilon houses around the country are getting facelifts and improvements thanks to the g
PI (SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY)
The Pi chapter is undergoing a two-year, $200,000 project that is completely redoing the exterior of the chapter house. Siding, replacement windows, decking and all architectural details are being restored. The chapter house was placed on the National Historic Register in 1985 and is the first structure on campus built specifically to be a fraternity house. The house was designed by W.W. Taber, a Pi brother who graduated from the school of architecture in 1899. The house was built in 1898 while Taber was still a student. Taber died in 1943 and is buried in the cemetery next to campus. Brothers who wish to help can contribute to the Pi Exterior Renovation Campaign.
