WELCOME Dear Friends, I don’t need to tell you how difficult the past year has been. No two individuals’ journeys through the COVID-19 pandemic or the events that devastated our Boulder community have been the same, and no doubt we each have spent a good deal of time rebuilding, regrouping, and rebounding. Instead I would like to skip past the rehashing of things we’ve overcome and move right to the gratitude. The Colorado Music Festival is emerging from the pandemic on solid footing because of its diehard supporters and loving friends. We have always suspected that we had some of the best audiences in the world, but now we have indelible proof. Because of you we were able to continue making music, even if we had to perform and deliver it in creative ways. You rolled seamlessly with these changes. Because of you we are opening a new chapter for our organization -- a chapter of optimism, of bright ideas and new solutions born from chaos, necessity, and creativity. Because of you, we are here. This will be a season of reflection, to be sure. This year’s Festival will celebrate our survival, commemorate our losses, and explore all the ways these extraordinary, live musical experiences will rejuvenate our spirits. If you are reading this, we are grateful for you. Thank you for reminding us where we stand within our local and international musical community, and for demonstrating your commitment to music. With great joy,
Elizabeth McGuire Executive Director
